Dollar King reviews
28 Worst place and service cashier dropped item into lady’s bag and broke her bag and the glass item wouldn’t replace broken item and wanted to charge her again
A very bad attitude won’t go there again
Try to check your item every time after you paid.when I didn't check it i always lost 2 or 3 item but I already paid.
MAKE SURE YOU PAID RIGHT ITEM WAHT YOU WANT TO BUY IT
Cheap goods and wired staff. On the sunday, this male staff was unpacking his boxes in the hardware section as i need to buy a drill saw, and apparently he was annoyed by a me coming because i might have use some of his space. Strangely what he was unpacking are cloth hangers which should be at the different section so i have no idea why he does the unpacking in the hardware section. Unreasonable and anti customer oriented. Rather go further to bunnings for hardwares.
A rip off business, kids ballon broken 10second after walked out the store and they refused to exchange.
Get all of my paint supplies here.
Have huge painting parties with 15+ people and usually get away with spending less than $70 including canvases, paints and brushes.
In other reviews I see mention of rude staff but my experience has been the opposite; The staff have always been extremely helpful and polite.
Many stuff, closed too early, they dont do refund but give credit to buy next time just use in 2 months?
Why cannot refund? Only in 45 mins buy and go back still in package no use with receipt
Always good value to be found in this hidden treasure trove. Stacked with Halloween goodies at the moment
Good place to find bargain for hardware (spanner, sanding, and even rubber bands, paint spray) for a fraction of prices from other giant retailers
Rubbish king, selling useless rubbish but expensive, and poor shopping experience, bad staff attitude, also no refund. Go to kmart of Target please.
Great range of products. If you are looking for something that is not sold in Wollies or Coles or Daiso, then you could probably find it here.
Are you looking for, well anything? Then you will probably find it here, it might not be the best quality but they will have it. A good store for party decorations and costumes, even weird Australian souvenirs. Its super cramped with stuff everywhere, hard to get in and out of the aisles and it gets stuffy and smells pretty bad.but if you know what you want its worth ducking in and out again.
Prices are higher than Daiso for similar items. Worth a look if you can't find what you need in Daiso.
One star is for the customer service, just feel it was not right attitude when he answered the question. Doesn't matter how stressful or tired you are, the basic thing in customer service is politeness.
Cheap prices on home appliances, kitchen utensils, decorations, home decor, birthday candles, beauty, art things and much more useful and useless plastic. However, probably low quality
Very unhappy with their service. They tried to force me to buy a pair of gloves (see attached for reference) for $1.99 where I clearly told then I wanted the ones for $2.60 as I'm allergic to the $1.99 one. However they kept on forcing even after I had refused many times. No respect.
A go to shop for cheap merchandise from cookware to toilet paper and more. It's a pretty tight store with uncomfortably narrow aisles. The staff here sometimes say hello but most of the time they are busy checking the stocks, essentially very indifferent. But they are pretty good at telling you which aisle a certain items you are searching is located. It can be very uncomfortable when it's busy as you have to squeeze past other customers to navigate and search stuff you are looking for. I would avoid bringing kids here and better known exactly what you are looking for before entering this store. I can't even imagine someone in a wheelchair can navigate through the very tight aisles.
Great location - lower ground floor of World Square Building.fantastic range of products.reasonably priced.friendly staff. I love shopping there
My girl is obsessed with this place anytime a holiday comes she is rummaging for knick knacks and costumes.
Fun store and had most souvenirs we were looking for. However, staff very terse and unfriendly. Also, I didn’t notice that they rang up something incorrectly—a $3 deck of playing cards rang up as “Photo Frame - copper OH 48” for $12, so I lost $9. I know—I should have checked my receipt earlier. Nothing I can do about it now, because we fly out tomorrow morning before they open.
Yeah, it is heaven when it comes to tools and supplies. It is also in a very good and convenient location.
