Do Film! Lab

They are amazing! The scans are great, they can do tiff files and very high résolution files on 120mm. Order than that the team is super cool, and very helpfull. It's definitly the perfect place for analog photographers!

Great prices and helpful staff, I almost got ripped off getting my film developed somewhere else, glad I brought it here! I had a roll of black & white film that was difficult to scan and they went the extra effort to hand scan the film so I could get my shots!

Great film lab! I was traveling and had to get a roll developed. I got nice high res scans and they even helped me mail the negatives back to the US at a reasonable price.

First time developing film and was super nervous as i forgot to take out my disposable cam on the last check before my flight (yes, yes, i forgot to take it out before x-ray, but it was just once!) but oh mee oh myyy my film turned out great! Super happy with the speediness and price as well! Definitely will be coming back!

Best days are days I receive my scans back. I love sharing my scans with loved ones, Do Film Lab always makes sure they come out great.

BE AWARE!
I used this place many times, but this place lost one of my negatives. I called them on Monday and the lady told me to wait because they were busy, no one called me until Friday. I had to go to the store, they just told me that they might be misplaced the missing negative in someone else's envelope, therefore there is nothing they can do.

By far the most affordable place in town to get your films developed! Dropped my film roll off on friday and the photos were sent to me via dropbox on monday! Superb service.will totally return again whenever i need some developing done.

The staff were super friendly and shared a lot of useful insights as I was only recently getting into film photography! Definitely coming back again:)

Great little local film developing shop with really lovely and knowledgeable staff. They're quite busy and have a turnaround of about a week at the moment, it's great to see people supporting local businesses.

Very slow process. Selling some of the films way too expensive, and lack of customer service-company asked me to adjust this review. I know everyone’s experience is different but This is my experience.

After a bit of research I decided to give Do Film! Lab a go.

The reviews definitely didn't lie! The service was fantastic - friendly, professional and more than happy to guide / provide more information if needed.

They are also open 7 days a week which is super convenient!

I 100% recommend these guys.

I have been there for around 4 times.
Each time it took approximately 7 days to get the developed films back. Plus, when I went back to pick up my negative as agreed, they couldn’t find it.
I went there because a friend recommended it and saying it’s good quality and fast.
I do agree with good quality and reasonable price, but I definitely won’t recommend it if you want your photos back quickly.

I've sent in film a handful of times now. Always really good quality scans! Although customer service can be improved. Responses aren't prompt. They typically have quick turnaround times which is currently delayed (which is totally understandable!) but it wasn't communicated to me until I called them after 6 days of them receiving my film and payment.
Overall they're relatively good but improvements can definitely be made:)

Love to see another film lab in Sydney open up doing high quality scans, and run by super knowledgeable and passionate stuff who can answer all your questions and j love to chat about anything film. As of writing (late March 2022) there is an approx 1week for turnaround for scans but this was communicated by them, and I understand they are looking to expand the business soon to cope with the demand and include slide film processing as well

Came across this shop by chance, as I usually use rewind for my develop and scans. It cost $13 to develop and scan - and they take I think around 5 working days (at least for mine) which was a bit slow from what I’m used to but can tell that the scans were of high quality. Would recommend!

I wish I could share the enthusiasm for do film! Lab but I've been chasing after my film rolls since the 1st of November. Yep. That's 6+ weeks. I'm one of the most patient souls out there, but I've had many calls where people told me they'd send the roll (s) of. I paid postage three or four times now - and only on the last call an employee suggested they'd refund it - which apparently takes up to a month. With all due respect, I know you guys are a small lab and forgetting rolls can happen - but if you are overwhelmed, say so beforehand and don't string your customers along. Also the fact that you made me pay for postage so many times, and only the last call someone suggested a refund, is ridiculous. I'll be looking elsewhere for development now, because other labs are just doing as good of a job with dev + scan. It wasn't a great experience.
Update: They did arrive in the end:)

In the past year I've had over 70 rolls developed and scanned by Do Film! Lab. Extremely happy with the service, quality of scan, turnaround time and friendliness. I love the final results from my scans and and have no need or desire to do any further post editing. Very convenient opening hours too - 7 days a week until 6pm. Their prints are great too and I buy film from them - What's not to love? ! Thanks so much Do Film! Lab and see you all soon with some more rolls. IG @ dustyanalogue

Professional and friendly place. Oliver is always a helping hand and makes sure to do his best to meet customer needs. Cheap and affordable in comparison to most other film labs too!
