18Extremely poor service. Only 2 out of 3 packages arrived that I ordered through them. The last package was not delivered and when i called to find out the lady at the help desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Will never use this service again and I urge other people not fall for this scam
Would like to give a shout out to Ryan who delivered a parcel for me today in Wyoming. I answered the doorbell remotely and was almost home. He waited for me to arrive, followed proper protocol to get my signature (rather than taking my word for it that I would be home soon) and refused my tip money for waiting. Absolute gentleman please give him my praise and super friendly and polite too! Thank you:)
Extremely disappointed in the online communication of this company. I was informed by email my items would be delivered "by the 9th Feb. " so I took the day off work to receive my items. The online tracking option was not updated and was actually useless in providing any helpful information at all. When I rang, the person on the phone was very polite, but said my delivery was in transit and would not be delivered on the day I was informed in writing it would be. I was advised it would be delivered the next day. No time frame was given.
This morning I looked online to track it and the status said "on board" - what does that even mean? On board where? And approximately when would it be delivered? I sent an email but no reply, then received an auto generated email with no helpful information at all.
So once again I phoned the company and spoke with another very polite person who said my items were scheduled for delivery by 12pm today. Here's hoping!
My advice to anyone using this company - don't rely on their website, and definitely don't take the day off work until you have spoken to a real person who can inform you correctly of a reasonable time frame for when your items will be delivered. You may be out of pocket at least 2 day's wages at a minimum. The two people I spoke to were very polite, professional, and most importantly, informative and helpful.
Found a card in letterbox notifying me of missed parcel delivery & to register redelivery on line. On line registration form requires a phone number with area code & will not accept mobile numbers therefore unable to submit form.
Driver didn’t knock or even bother waking to my front door. Got a phone notification saying the driver had been, checked my mail box and sure enough a sorry we missed you slip. With today’s technology you would think the drivers would at least try and be honest.
My parcel left Sydney on 4 October.i live in the Northern Rivers. So far it has travelled from Sydney to Ballina to Brisbane, back to Mullumbimby and then back to Brisbane, and its location is now unknown.
A week later and it still has not been delivered. I know that the driver was within 10km of my house 3 hours prior to final delivery deadline last Friday. So it appears that he just couldn't be bothered and instead took the parcels back to Brisbane.
So frustrating!
Cannot express my disgust at the service strongly enough. I received a Delivery Notification email that said in large blue lettering at the top "Your Delivery is its way", and a few lines down the email.scheduled for delivery the following day. No further instructions on the email e.g. What, if any, further contact to expect from the company prior to delivery. After waiting all of the following day I contacted the company, and was told that they had no record of even picking up the goods yet. It's very simple Direct Freight: don't send an email saying the goods are on their way when you don't even have them & especially DON'T give a "Scheduled for Delivery by" date. You can't schedule for delivery what you don't have! It's very misleading. And, to make matters worse customer service team tried several times to refer me to/blame the sender when the entire issue was poor communication from Direct Express
I was home expecting a delivery. The truck turned up and he did not knock. Just wrote a card and left it in the mail box.
I’m guessing he didn’t want to lift the package with a tow bar in it
I missed the delivery of two big parcels yesterday. Rang Direct Freight Express 8: 30am. Waited on phone for 10 minutes, which is the norm everywhere these days. Call centre in Sydney very polite and professional. Arranged for pick up at Somersby depot as needed asap. Steve and Ash excellent service. Even carried parcels to my car. Thanks
They either don't deliver or if they can't leave it thgey take it back and nevere inform you about it. Very poor communication. It takes over an hour for them to pick up the phone when you're trying to find out about your delivery.
Got a message saying my item to be delivered tomorrow, then got a message saying it was delivered and accepted by me, it was nowhere to be found i hadn't accepted it, then i got a message the next day after saying that my item was on board for delivery again? Is this some sort of cycle or what, called them and waited for 15 minutes on hold, then i hanged up, absolute trash service from these guys I'm very disappointed i do not recommend using these guys whatsoever worst delivery and customer service ive ever had: (
They NEVER answer the phone so you can discuss a delivery or an issue. I waited over 45 mins on hold, very poor Customer Service
Have been trying to contact to get an answer where our package is cant contact anyone.
I cant even find my parcel anywhere on their system though i know its been sent.very unprofession service will update when they contact me.
Im a pretty patient person but after wasting yet another day waiting for a delivery which when I spoke to the customer service I was told was next in line for delivery it still didnt come.
How can deliveries be on board for delivery and yet not be delivered. I changed plans and have been here all day.no excuse!
Currently waiting on a delivery from Bicycles Online. Package was due yesterday, it hasn’t turned up and they are unable to locate it. I’ve been told it’s going to take 24 or more hours to hear back. It’s now Friday, I ordered with plenty of time for package to arrive before weekend as I need it this weekend.
Customer service was friendly and enough but I am unsatisfied with their response and their lack of ability to help me locate the parcel.
Weekend plans are now ruined.

Everytime we get something delivered through Direct Freight, they mange to lose it. This has been an issue 3 times in the last 6 months. I may understand if an envelope went missing. But a lawn mower, mattress and 2 4WD tyres is a bit of a joke. You sit on hold for 20 minutes just to be told we need to contact the company we purchased the items off or the agent they are using for delivery. They refuse to take accountability for the fact their warehouse is losing people's goods. Avoid using Direct Freight Express wherever possible, because they are far from Direct or Express.
If you want the driver to read the address wrong and try and deliver it half way up the street And then refuse to deliver the parcel to the correct address on that same day then this is the company you should use.
Delivery wasn't attempted delivery as I was home all day, but the tracking shows that there was an attempted delivery and a card was left (no card found on premise).
Trying to get through the customer service for 1 hour right now on the phone without any luck.
