Had to use them as part of my build. Paid a premium price nearly $40k in excess for whole house outside of the contract cost and their contract tilers are definitely not worth the $100m2 + they’re charging. So many drummy tiles and corner cutting it’s not funny! Not to mention I turned up on site and the one grouting could not speak a word of English makes me wonder who’s getting rich off the labour here? Would never use them again! Totally ripped off in my eyes!

Has no choice to go with Di Lorenzo as this was the only option. Paid my upgrades beginning of March so they could order in the tiles for my build. Fast forward 1.5months later we get a call from the Builder to say one of the tile choices is discontinued. Ok that's fine but why only twll us the week before the tikes are suppose to be delivered to site? We then go into the Castle Hill showroom to choose an alternative and was told that these are all in stock and should be delivered next week. Call the office the following Wednesday to see when the tiles will be delivered. Was told I had to call head office as we are only the adminisrative side of ordering.ahhh you are the representative we spoke to initially and at no time were we told that we had to do our own follow-up withe head office of our order. I am not happy at how we were served and the treated. If you hcan find an alternative supplier I would do so

I highly recommend these guys, they had everything I needed to start and finish my tiling project. Their high level of product knowledge assisted me with making the right decisions the first time. I visited Di Lorenzo's Willoughby store and received fabulous customer service from Penny. Penny was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable and even helped us carry a huge tile to our car. Highly recommend a trip to Di Lorenzo's Willoughby store!

Julie at Di Lorenzo offered me the most competitive price for my chosen outdoor tiles.
It was a pleasure dealing with her! She was very responsive, professional and handle every one of my queries with ease and efficiency. I would highly recommend her and would not hesitate to use Di Lorenzo again.

Would pay $10,000 to NOT use them. Cut corners, unhelpful admin staff, wouldn't recommend them to my grandma.
DiLorenzo are the only supplier we were allowed to use for our Eden Brae homes build. They must get excellent kickbacks for continually giving them service, and this must be the only thing keeping DiLorenzo afloat.
APPOINTMENT
They're ridiculously expensive, we can't be refunded any labour costs by cancelling them, so decided to take a chance and use them, new home, splash cash, etc etc. Our upgrades would have been cheaper even if we forfeited labour cost and got an actual professional tiler in, but we weren't allowed to cancel wet areas, so figured use them for hybrid flooring all through downstairs, and carpet upstairs.
We didn't get any drawings, or visualisation of any of the wet areas which most builders do actually provide.
BUILD (REORDER)
They apparently tried to contact us many times (they didn't - even once.no emails, and no calls even though they were fine booking us by phone and emailing confirmation of appointment). They were due to lay the tiles, but failed to inform that the tiles we had paid for, and selected were now out of stock for our build (yet, even today they're still offering them to people to use, but when it comes to build they also inform them out of stock. If they're not in stock, and won't be. Don't sell them?), they had known there wouldn't be stock at least two weeks before site supervisor asked us if they'd contacted us, given they were due to be laid the next day, immediately we contacted them, left work, drove 2 hours to get to the showroom to reselect tiles which were a lesser tile but no refund on the difference, but of course offered to 'upgrade' again at another astronomical cost.
The reselected tiles then apparently held up the build for another three weeks as they were ordered and supplied pushing back all other trades, costing us 3 weeks in bills, rent, mortgage etc.
BUILD (CONSTRUCTION)
Sneaky, unprofessional, and cutting corners.
We had paid an extra $3500 over standard, for one bathroom to get larger ceiling height tiles, they initially were installed at a standard height. We informed the Site Supervisor who had them return, only to have them install two half tiles on top of each other for a poor excuse of a finish. Site supervisor apologised and said that they're coming out again to replace the top row with a full tile. Finishings in the rest of the bathroom were average at best.
We also paid a huge premium for thick underlay in all the carpeted areas, mind you - any run of the mill budget carpet layer will provide minimum 9mm at no extra cost because less is uncomfortwble, DiLorenzo consider this their best product and a premium upgrade. They ended up installing the thinnest perhaps hoping no one would check. At our PCI, I requested the underlay be revealed because it was very thin, and upstairs was loud to walk on. Lo-behold the thinnest underlay was installed. Now we risk losing another few weeks on our settlement but I'm sure with all their return trips, they still make a profit on the margins. All because of either incompetence, or willingful deceit. I imagine they get away with some of this on builds too, and reap the profit.
I just hope their warranty holds up for all the premiums we paid, but it seems from other reviews from other Eden Brae builders, they also pass the buck and ask you to file an insurance claim on shower bases leaking through the walls and into other rooms. We almost can't wait to rip it up.
Terrible 0 stars. We've been robbed at every stage. So glad I can buy tiles elsewhere and have anyone BUT DiLorenzo do our alfresco and porch.

Worse customer service experience ever. I am building with one of the home builder and they use Di Lorenzo. I visited the Castle Hill store many times and each time the service was pathetic. No one to assist - all siting behind their computers, if you ask questions they are so rude and doesn't want to help at all. They are either lazy or have no knowledge at all.

Went into Castle Hill store, hung around waiting for someone to acknowledge me or offer assistance, left after 35 mins with not one person looking to help, pathetic treatment of a customer. It takes 5 mins to tell someone that you are busy but will attend to them soon.

The best time to judge a supplier is when there is a problem.

When we had to source a feature wall tile for our bathrooms a few days before tiling commenced, Di Lorenzo Castle Hill made the selection and ordering process seamless. They provided design advice, sourced the quantities and arranged delivery.

They showed empathy to our problem, professionalism and made it happen so there were no delays with the build.

We couldn’t thank Aria and Rafael enough.

I highly recommend DiLorenzo Castle Hill as a supplier of a wide range of beautiful and high quality tiles, and exceptional customer service.

On the afternoon of the 21/05/20, we went in to DiLorenzo to look at supplies for our planned bathroom renovations (after phoning ahead in the morning). We were very disappointed to not have even one staff member who bothered to acknowledge us for the entire 30 mins or so that we were in their showroom. We understand that they may have been busy & these are strange times in light of COVID-19 but where did customer service go? All they needed to do was say ‘hi, let me know if we can help you with anything’. We felt invisible & will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. By comparison, Amber tiles in Beaumont hills have been absolutely fabulous!

My wife and I wanted to upgrade our floor tile. We went down to the castle hill store and were lucky enough to work with Danielle Vicic she was amazing and made the experience for my wife and I easy, reassuring and definitely walked out of there feeling happy and content with our tile choice. That is all to your range and customer service thank you again Danielle. My wife is happy so that make me happy thank you!

Had my tiling and flooring selections appointment today for a new build. DiLorenzo has an excellent range of tiles along with carpet, and timber & laminate flooring. Jane was our consultant and she is so impressive! Not only did we walk away excited about our choices, selected according to our budget, but also with a whole heap of tips and ideas about joinery and internal paint colours. The whole experience was surprisingly fun! Jane made it so easy. I recommend booking an appointment for this excellent service.

They have so little stock that I have no idea why they bother having a showroom. They can just pack the 3 tiles in stock on a table and save us all the trouble of walking through a store. Very disappointed.

Staff were reallu unhelpful. Its such a shame, had to go elsewhere and outsource tiles for a new home instead.
