Dee Why Rockpool reviews
24Very entertaining today, great surf to watch, chppy in the ocean baths, great fun swimming and watching the surfers.
Such a great Northern Beaches tidal pool! Two pools, a shallow kids pool perfect for the little ones, then another huge 50m pool with lanes and distance markers. I train here for ocean water swims and so do many others although its never so busy that there isn't a lane available to train. There are good seating places and sun tanning spots. My girls LOVE this pool and we have endless fun here. There are also rock pools to explore nearby although you do need to be careful about slipping on the rocks. It's not bad, just have to be aware it can happen.
Enjoyable couple of well-maintained pools suitable for everyone. Easily accessible with plenty of parking around - paid and free ones.
I have a boy with behavioural issues as he has got ASD (Autism) and dipping to Dee Why’s Rockpool is a relaxing day. The pool was made perfectly to fit on my son’s “behaviour”. The pool is very safe and the people/community are so respectful plus they understand my son’s “special needs”……
We are always coming to DEE WHY and travelling from Castle Hill is quite far, but it is a worth way to be in this beautiful and SAFE pool by the beach of DEE WHY
As far as ocean swimming pools go this is one of the better ones. Is kept really clean and has a children's pool at the end. Toilets and change rooms on site but parking is a bit of a nightmare (unless you park at the surf club which is quite a long walk away).
The seating there is north facing so also a great spot to catch some rays.
Magnificent location to watch surfers performing on large waves. Excellent coffee shop nearby, right on to promenade.
Pool is lovley and clean. Beautiful views and relaxed vibe. Change rooms could use some updating, especially if you want to shower before work/outing but otherwise delightful.
A 50 metre #rockpool and #toddlers area at the southern end of thriving #DeeWhy #Beach #nsw

It's a fabulous spot bit a bit busy on the weekend. Very popular for little kids and with the playground close by, it makes it a nice day out.
Dee Why Beach Sunrise on a rainy overcast morning, great colour contrasts on the horizon with a white silky effect in the small waves.
Weekly ritual is a walk down to Dee Why beach and along the sand. Most days I endeavour to try to visit the beach pool area. It seems to give me a sense of peace and wellbeing. How lucky I am to live in such an amazing and beautiful part of Sydney coastline.
Possibly the best ocean pool in the Northern Beaches for young families.
Adjacent safe toddlers pool is apt. Parking can be difficult during weekends or sunny days but there is plenty of free street parking around.
Great place for a family swim.
Great and fairly big ocean pool. Not very deep and shallow sides on both ends. There's also a kids pool separate, lots of rocks or cement steps to lie or sit on, and toilets with open showers.
It amuses me when I stop to think what the Dee Why beach has to offer. Really good restaurants and pubs by the beach and of course I won't forget mentioning the coffee places, you can't go wrong! Pretty good waves (even though it gets a bit crowded), an awesome rock pool and much more. It's such a beautiful place. The Rock pool is really big and with a appropriate depth so people can have a good swim. There is a shower close to the pool and also toilets with space to get changed if needed. The rocks beside the pool are really beautiful and there are quite a lot of people sun bathing there in summer, it can get pretty hot though. It's worth mentioning that there is a ramp to the pool for people with disabilities as well, it's kinda awesome!
One of Sydney's best rock pools with a full sized pool and kids pool. Surfers use this point to catch a wave that occasionally breaks alongside the pool giving you a fantastic view of them surfing. Toilets, showers and changing facilities.
3 Stars - Due to its seaweed infested waters. Besides that this beach is great! They have a kids play area as well, great for family picnic and enjoying the salt pools.
This is my 'Go-to' spot for a relaxing read by the pool while soaking up some vit D. Love this spot along with the beautiful locals
Ahhhh home. Love sitting on the rockpool. Watching waves, surfers, birds and people enjoying life! Great family spot.
Very nice and active place with children playing. Nice rocks and places to sit near cliff edges.
All you want to simply entertain your kids is at Dee Why (beach, play ground, swimming pool, etc)
