I highly recommend Decorug at Kotara. Our purchases include a beautiful rug for our dining room, and carpets for three bedrooms. The professionalism and knowledge by Jason in-store is highly commendable, and we very much appreciate the high quality of customer service we experienced as a result.

Ordered and paid for a floor months in advance of Reno’s. On the day of installation with all our furniture moved to upstairs nothing. A complete no show, I’d even checked the day before, as there was no communication from deco rug. Got pretty rude push back as they attempted to blame us? Until they admitted that the installation team “had let them down”.

Day 2, the installation team rocked up and immediately informed us that the whole lower ground floor needed levelling? Which was news to us as nobody had pointed this about before and would now cost another 5k on top of the job.
When questioned why this hadn’t been raised till the very day of install they just said that the shop “didn’t know anything about installing floors”?

This new cost was a full 50% jump in the cost of the job. And we probable wouldn’t have gone with the floor if we know the cost.

To be honestly the whole scam seemed like a pretty standard and well rehearsed as the installers just happened to have all the levelling compound with them.

After a massive blow up the additional cost they halved the cost but wanted immediate payment. Again all massively suspect.

The store just couldn’t care less after the sales process. Beware of Decorug they have some very underhanded business practices. Disgusting.

We ordered a rug and came to collect on Thursday night when they said they were open until 7. We drove all the way there to find the store locked! Very rude, inconsiderate and inconvenient… poor service

We’ve just purchased our second cream rug in a larger size today, and we cannot be happier with the quality of the rugs or the outstanding customer service offered at DecoRug Kotara. Thank you so much, will be long time customers from here on in!

Mum works across the road from them and the service was appalling. Sent the rudest, laziest most terrible tradies. Lied to, sent wrong colours, sent wrong products, sent bad tradies that lied and did terrible lousy work.lied to about products

She had her money refunded and left to have house in turmoil and a cold concrete floor for three months in middle of winter.
She had another local store complete and do her work instantly and had amazing work and service.

Staff are busy here most of the time, but are always available to help on a selection of a rug, (or any other floor covering). These guys will look after you. There is so much stock of rugs, of all different sizes, quality, look and price to choose from.

DO NOT HIRE DECORUG TO LAY CARPET. Honesty lay carpet yourself before hiring DecoRug to do the job. They had not one but TWO people come out and assess my job. They Both told me they could carpet my stair case, charged me extra then pushed the job back another week forcing my partner to have two leave without pay days off. Then didn’t do the job in the end anyways! They then decided to tell me it can’t be done after the job was complete? I asked to be reimbursed for the extra charges and in Brysons (project manager) words “You should have been charged more for the job to begin with so we can’t reimburse”. So apparently them under quoting me is now my problem? I was happy to pay whatever the quote would have been to do the job, now I’m having to hire another carpet company to finish it because they aren’t competent in what they do for a living.

The ladies at Kotara Deco rug were extremely helpful and could not do enough to help me.
They had enormous energy and nothing was too much for them.
I now have the most beautiful white grey vintage 3.4 x 2.4 rug and am very happy.

Huge thanks to Frank and Omar who laid out carpet today. Two hardworking, polite and professional young men. We're delighted with the results.

Very poor customer service. No proper way to contact the top level management and once you get in contact they won’t listen to you as a customer And there is no replies or contact for your concerns. Once you pay the deposit you are locked in and get surprised with the hidden charges never explained by the ridiculous staff for their own bonuses.

I cannot praise Stacey & Bryson enough. They were so helpful and went above and beyond in helping me choose and return & replace the rugs that didn't suit. They ordered and cut down a large rug so I'd have the 4 rugs in the correct size that I needed. The kids and I are very happy with our experience and will be telling everyone about the excellent service that we received. It's great to see staff who really care about their customers and who want them to be happy. Really impressed! Will pop back in to say hi!:)

Thanks guys for a great job. Especially Chris the installer who did an amazing job, with a great attitude and willingness to overcome challenges with my flooring. I love my hybrid flooring and Decorug staff were so helpful and patient. Will be recommending you guys
