I couldn’t believe the amount that this store charges for their products, it is grossly overpriced. I looked at a few things including boxing gloves, pads, fitness mats, bench presses and weights. I then decided it was a total rip off and that I’m better looking on Facebook Marketplace.
Seriously…. $55 for 5kg dumbbell set?

Been a while since I have been in, stock levels seem OK, but in things like kids shoes, change over in styles and random sizes make for a very unpleasant shopping experience with kids who pick the ones they like and then you find no stock in their size!

We want buy some rain boots, one young man help us check size. Ash help me solve the online order and pick up at store, he really in patience and friendly. This Decathlon also has big parking areas.

I went there to buy some accessories for my new ebike. The store is huge with a variety of good quality products. The prices did seem a bit high though. I bought handgrips for my bike and was having difficulty installing it. Thankfully Ashutosh from the team helped install it free of cost. Now the grip is much smoother and I feel less shocks in my wrist.

Horrible ecommerce experience. A lot of equipment you can't ship and also not Check availability. Went then to the store to find out most things were not available (and wasting 1 hour driving around). This was good enough 5 years ago but not anymore.

Big store and good collection of sports, hiking and picnic stuff. Convenient car parking just infront of the entrance. It has got toilet inside the building.

I'm French and worked in a Decathlon so why not supporting Decathlon Australia. Was I wrong? ! I bought my MTB B'twin 699AUD and after having my rear wheel stolen, they just can't provide any spare! That just sounds crazy! I went to 99 Bikes and provided everything within 10min. I recommend 99Bikes for any bikes or issues, very professional over there.

You cannot purchase in the store unless you give them your email address! I don't rate highly stores that treat their potential customers that way.

I ordered some training equipment a few weeks back. Decathlon took weeks to process the purchase. Their shipping partner confirmed that they delivered it, but I never received the package. No way of contacting Decathlon or the shipping company. Really pathetic service.

I am very happy with click and collect service during lockdown. The orders were ready in the same day. It helped when my little one and I wanted to play some sport games but we were missing something, we ordered first thing in the morning and collected in the afternoon, still had time to play. The plus side was my son got excited waiting for an online order

Discount sports warehouse. Great place you always find something interesting here. Currently only click and collect because of covid (august 2021) but hopefully open again soon.
The click and collect was going smoothly, staff was very busy but also very friendly!

Decathlon have a great variety of sports gear, equipment, clothing and accessories for a large number of sports. They have a smaller selection of brand names, including their own brand which is great value and good quality. During lockdown they have quick turnaround for click and collect items. I made an order and was able to pick up my items 3 hours later.

Today I went to pick up an order, and I was attended by a person who had already attended me before, with a very rude and arrogant attitude, his way of delivering the items is very unatempt and with no courtesy.
I don't know his name, but I couldn't help taking a picture of him after leaving an item of a client at the door saying “I leave it here boss! ” And the client was a few steps away, walking towards seeing how his item fell to the floor and the client only said, ouch”, at this moment, the guy just got in without saying anything…

A great sports warehouse with all the equipment and clothes you need. If you want to go snorkelling, they have the gear. They also have a mini velodrome for you to cycle on. There also lots of fitness and exercise equipment to try yourself. The staff there are friendly and you rarely have to queue.

Amazing store!
Two things really stand out to me:
- The bike range is amazing. I challenge anyone to find better value for money on bikes. I bought a Triban and it just goes amazing
- The camping gear is also amazing, great pricing and great quality.
Thanks Decathlon. Hopefully you will open a store on the Northern Beaches soon

Pretty bad online experience. I’m very very disappointed, as a European trying to support a European company only to be let down. Their sizing charts are pretty useless for life jackets. I’m 73kg, I bought a 60-80kg rated life jacket with click and collect, the life jacket doesn’t fit. When I try to process a refund (because they don’t do exchange) they want me to pay for shipping. Even though I was literally about to order click and collect for the next size up in a more expensive style and snorkelling shoes as well. I thought I could just order the new products and process a refund through click and collect (drop off the item with receipt to the store I picked up from), but it seems Decathlon is just as bad at online sales in Australia as it is in Europe. I understand paying for return postage if I bought with postage to begin with, but not when I picked items up from a physical store. No other bricks and mortar stores do that?

I’m likely going to another Australian store to buy a life jacket now that offers reasonable returns policy and has proper sizing charts to make an informed decision.

Also the $10 welcome sign up membership promotion doesn’t work.

I’m pre-emoting the reply to be “bla bla bla because of covid bla bla bla”

What a poor excuse to make returns less desirable by having to be forced to pay for return shipping even though the goods were picked up from a physical store.

Loved this store until today, I placed two online orders for pick up, the website stated the the orders will be ready for pick up in 2 hours. I placed the first order and received an email confirmation at 2: 57pm and second order at 3: 04pm (store closes at 5pm) - at 5pm I went to get the orders, the staff that answered the phone said the orders aren’t ready and the time is calculated according to when it enters their system which was 3: 15pm. I offered to wait until all prior orders are finalised and expressed my desperate need to get the items before my trip tomorrow morning, he declined and said I have to come back tomorrow. He voice tone was very rude and not helpful at all. When I asked to cancel the order, he said ok but you have to know that the refund won’t be issued until 2-5 days later.

Offered some flexibility for god sake, the items are on the shelve and you are giving them to people in a plastic bag. Secondly, put it on your website that the order time is calculated based on when it enters your system, not when the order is placed. Cheers
