David Wagstaff Plumbing, Drainage and Excavation 25 years in the trade

As someone who is not a developer, but found myself responsible for a subdivision, I count my lucky stars that a friend put me in touch with Dave. I had 110% peace of mind with Dave on the job. For my subdivision, Dave did an amazing job of the extensive stormwater drainage, the installation of pits and pipes, the excavation and grading of swales, he constructed a precast headwall, concrete dish drain and gabion mattress, and much more. Dave also separated the sewer, gas and water. And he excavated the driveway and removed the fill from the site and cleaned up the space.

To my relief, Dave also managed the site visits and inspections from Council, the Engineer and Jemena gas, which I was incredibly grateful for. He really took the stress out of the process.

Dave also put me in touch with the concreter for the driveway who also did a fantastic job. I am really a happy customer, and I highly recommend him for professional work.

Cannot recommended anyone more highly than this man. He was the best man we could have ever had to repair our 16x4 mtr high retaining wall which failed last March 22 during the water bombs in the Sutherland shire. He made our property safe (which battle between insurance companies and our neighbors was not happening). He made suggestions and carried out works to the highest standards whilst at all times communicating with us so it was to our advantage and save us money whilst not compromising quality.

We have used Dave on many occasions, to install water tanks, to divert seepage in carport with appropriate drainage and block wall, to install new toilets, and build a stone wall to support a new parking spot on our property. On every occasion he did a superb job. A true professional who takes pride in his work. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

The plans I received from my Civil Engineer - were in double Dutch to me - when David had them in his hands onsite first time, it all made sense, David was talking levels, showing with his hands the Stormwater Drainage plan. The quote was reasonable and comprehensive. His work - no other word other than excellent.
The man - personable, efficient, competent, highly skilled - every thing done right - all approvals required - achieved - ‘cos the plans were understood and implemented to the letter.
The only problem - he looks like Paul Newman and all my female neighbours were upset when he stopped coming to work. True.

I used David's services to repair a broken sewerage pipe which was difficult to access and required the use of his excavator. David sorted the problem, organised for the waste to be taken away and left our yard in a way that new turf could easily be laid. On time, diligent and professional, I would highly recommend using David for external plumbing work.
