This is what flying is about, friendly, professional, caring. Brilliant time.

Cheap, affordable, less crowded and near to Sydney city. Wonderful place to learn flying and build hours
Instructors (Dave & John) are highly skilled, cooperative and professional. Highly recommend flying school for young students and flying passionate persons like me

From the day I first visited The Oaks Airfield as a 17 year old with my old man, I have found the place to be comfortable and accomodating. I progressed thru my Pilots Cert, to my Cross Country Endorsement as well as everything else in between, including fantastic advice in every facet to do with building, owning and maintaining my own aircraft.the community here is great, and if Dave is ever tied up for a minute, or flying, don't be shy to ask anyone whats going on. 17 years, I've been flying, half my life, and i still drop into say g'day at The Oaks whenever I can!

Drove a considerable distance for a first flight.was informed that it was too windy to fly today. I said that's ok, and i thought well at least i could talk to the man about beginning to learn how to fly. Dave then spent the next 15 minutes talking nonsense to a customer who came to pay him and barely acknowledged that i was in the room. There's something very off about this man.

Michael Bridges, I happen to be the pilot Dave was talking to when you walked in. We were mid conversation about purchasing an aircraft.
I haven't known Dave a long time but I can assure you, I found Dave to be extremely friendly, helpful and attentive to his students needs.
It was blowing a 50+ km/h westerly on the day and it wasn't flyable. In fact we had finished our conversation as you were getting in the car. Both Dave and I were quite shocked that you got in to your car and drove away without saying a word.
If you do want to get in to flying you should have a little more patients as the weather does not always play nice.

Dave is an extraordinarily nice guy. Whether your relatively new to flying or somewhat seasoned, he is patient, pragmatic and flexible as an instructor. They take the time to listen to you as a student, and appropriately adjusts to each individual.
