Darling Quarter reviews
54A great modern precinct with shops, playgrounds and a new state of the art library. At the centre is Tumbalong Park for families to play at. Shops for occasional groceries and the library has a clean and modern exterior with a comforting exterior. Darling Quarter represents the modern developments of Sydney and has a great comforting area. Highly recommended for everyone, especially families.
Relaxing place, while kids enjoy the playground, I can just sit there and watch the water flowing. McDonald just in front and other stores where we can buy food. Has plenty space where we can sit. Love the big mirror too. I will practice dancing next time using that mirror. Make sure you bring spare clothes for kids, they can't resist playing in the water
Definitely the best place to go with young kids. Amazingly fun for our 1,5 y.o baby to play at the water play that has various physical activities. Bring towel and spare change of clothes for the kids. Just be extra careful watch over kids on the wooden floor next to the shallow pool, because it can get too slippery for it's always wet. This free playground also has climbing area, sandpit, flying fog, and 2 standing board play for toddlers. Surrounded by many options for F&B from these cafes.
The Darling Quarter is the perfect place to visit, especially with kids. The playground and water play area are always a blast from them.
Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat as well, either right at the quarter or a short walk away in Haymarket, Darling Harbour, or Market City.
Great place to go for all ages, children & adults.plenty to do & see.yummy food if you haven't been it's a must! I went to a concert down there with my friend & had a fantastic time
Great atmosphere.
Family friendly entertainment.
Free movie.
Open air.
Soft grass.
Good time of year to visit, school holidays means there is plenty happening to keep you entertained at any budget. You can easily spend a fortune at over priced eateries and attractions but you can just as easy wander around for free checking out buskers, performances, water features and other areas of interest. The square dance festival was on so that was pretty sweet
Fun for kids of all ages. Excellent hand washing stations. Would like more toilets nearby. Cafe on site for parents.
Darling harbour quarter, was nice this weekend looks like it is getting back to the good old days before the virus outbreak. YAY
Spent half the day here, lots of equipment for kids to play and entertain themselves. You can buy lunch from nearby or bring your own food and drinks.
One of the best places to spend time during holidays especially for families with young children. I see happy kids all over. Great restaurants for a nice meal at any time of the day.
I’ve been coming here for years.
I remember the basket ball courts and the Sega world. Before the numerous upgrade to the area
It is a one big pit stop for tourists.
Next door to the entertainment quarters, Chinese botanical gardens, city zoo, aquarium, Madame Tussaud’s museum and the endless restaurants and cafes to dine in and take away.
Night life is buzzing. Good crowd and atmosphere. Plenty of food options but be prepared to wait to get into some popular restaurants.
Nice area with fin activities for kids but the selection of restaurants feels a little underwhelming. Many are fine but none are special.
Beautiful alleys and amazing spin of restaurants. Fine dining to cosy coffee stops - all in one.
A great place for the family, especially with kids. There are a dry playground and wet playground which my son loves. It is catered for kids of all ages and my son had a fun time there. Bring towel and spare change of clothes for the kids. It can be crowded but does not impact us as there is wide enough space to keep distance. The water activity is great for kids to interact and play. There's plenty of eatery around. A nice stroll around was nice also.
Large play ground let kids very happy, even they can play in the water. There are many restaurants, convenient parking get good price in the weekend is only $15 perday.
Recommend for family funs.
Great area for food and fun. The playground is large and awesome although it’s always crowded. The area around the Quarter has lots of great restaurants and it’s always worth a visit
It's 9.47pm.on a Monday and we have been to a talk at the ICC. Unfortunately none of the beautiful restaurants are open for a quick meal on the way home. Surely the kitchen could stay open until at least 10pm? Very disappointing.
Brought my nephew here and he just doesn't want to leave. Great place for kids. Especially during the school holidays. Recommended for families.
