Darks Coffee

Exceptional beans. Ive been buying Darks U47 for years, even moving interstate and trying local coffee roasters, I still return to Darks. I tried M49 in my last order, also delicious. Extremely tasty brews.

We ordered Iced Soy Latte and Cappuccino, they were splendid. The Iced Latte was well balance. My partner also loves his cappuccino. We will come back soon

Lovely staffs, good vibes and good price. A lot of parking lot and bench available.

Poor service. We were just looking forward to a nice coffee after going to the gym on a nice day, and we were met with disinterest and coldness. If you can't provide what people PAY for, i.e. A warm and friendly experience as a prelude to nice coffee, give it up. Nice coffee, but the service really dampens the experience. Won't be returning.

We took our keep cups to get a coffee, I had to remove the lid which was fine then they rinsed our cups then made the coffee which was beautiful coffee.
When we finished our coffee my husband took his cup up just to be rinsed, the Person behind the counter said sorry we can’t take your dirty keep cups due to Covid which was ridiculous as they took it at the beginning and rinsed it before they made it.
We won’t be going back due to ridiculous Covid excuses, we didn’t ask them to wash it just a rinse out, there were no taps around so thought they would be kind enough to rinse it. It’s also encouraged to use your keep cup as you get a discount.

BEST chai latte ever! And their mocca’s are insane! They have so much flavour and have the perfect amount of it.the staff are so lovely, wish there were more of these around!

The rudest staff here I've ever encountered. One of the staff refuses to even look at u during the transaction it's like they r doing u a service by u paying their wages.

Coffee was very bitter for a latte and large is more like a medium. Sorry but won't be back way to bitter

Fantastic coffee beans and even better customer service. I accidentally duplicated my monthly bean order. Adam from Darks called me the next business day to let me know of the duplicate order and offer a refund.

Now this, THIS is going to be your best coffee in Newcastle. You’re never going to struggle to find a park because yknow, it’s outside a whole stadium. Even on game days, it’s the Knights so.there’ll be parks.
The coffee is the tastiest in Newcastle, with a variety of different roasts available (also for home purchase). Can’t get much better price wise either my fellow millennials.
Their customer service is unrivalled, an extremely comfortable experience anytime dealing with the staff.
Won’t have to wait long, easy to park, grab, go. Can also order ahead for extra ease.

I’m not sure what is better, the coffee or the service.

Open early, it's an intensely flavored coffee that matches with food, incredibly easy to visit.

Love their coffee Its fantastic and plus I'm lactose intorent and I'm so happy they have milk. Yay

First time last time customer, coffee had an awful flavour and very milky could not finish cup.

Hit and miss coffee wise, depends who is on the machine some times amazing and give you goosebumps, yesterday was on par with mc cafe barely enjoyable but the coffee had a job to do.

Nice spot for a quick & perfect coffee. Sadly, I've never had nice customer service or even a smile here but the coffee is always on point & parking is a breeze.

Darks is a great spot to drop in if you want a speedy, amazing coffee and a friendly face. Really set up for takeaway but they have a few chairs and umbrellas you can set up under and drink your coffee with a muffin, roasted sandwich or yoghurt and granola cup!

Darks is primarily a roaster (not at this location) but brewing their own coffee they really know how to make it shine!

I like this place and the coffee is as good as people say. Emma who served me really knows her coffee and is a hard worker.
