Dapto Ribbonwood Centre

Fun place to be, and if you ever lost just head that way they will help you out in any way shape, including a library free give out, and food vouchers, including information you need, close McDonald's.

Great community centre. Houses a library, youth centre and multiple rooms/halls which can be hired for private functions.
Great location adjacent to the commercial centre of town.
Plenty of parking across 2 carparks.

I used the Library here quite often. The staff are amazing, the library is very tidy and clean.

The Dapto Ribbon Center is very good for dancing and you can enjoy a hall for weddings birthday celebration parties funeral wakes school theatre performances! But the silly design of the stairs leading up to the stage are DANGEROUS and should be redesigned! There is a Preschool and a senior citizen hall and recreational Center as well! And it is just a hop step and a jump from the Dapto Mall! And you can play Rugby League or Rugby Union in the Park behind! But the silly design of the entry and exit to Fowlers Road is silly having a one way system? Wollongong council needs to rethink this one

This is a great community centre, it has many different services like a youth centre, meals on wheels, play groups, activities for the elderly, support services, craft groups, a library and much more to offer the community. So if you've just moved to the area or you seek information the ladies in the office will be able to assist you.

It's a convenient place in many ways I have been in the place and I will have to say that it was a pleasure to being there.

We went there for a function, and the function space was really roomy, and had the facilities of a full kitchen in order to cook food and clean up afterwards. The toilets were easily accessible too. The only downfall is the ridiculous charges the council implement to setup the function space up. I consider that extremely rude and over charging.

Poorly organised. Voter's were subjected to unnecessary Covid19 infection risks by Council's failure to provide a more open facility.

As a Hospitality trainer, I delivered 2 units at Dapto Ribbonwood Centre. RSA & RCG.
It's large, easy to find on the Princes Hwy, plenty of parking, other shops anound and next to McDonald's.
Corporate rooms are clean, a modern projector, easy to set up, very clean kitchen facilities, air-conditioned, and excellent support and guidance from staff.
You need to set the seating up for your booked room so add more time for arrival and set up for your successful delivery.

Spent time at the library with my granddaughter, it's a great place for young kids. Wonderful staff

Staff could be friendlier. Not sure if it was just because we had a meeting after 4pm or just the lady there on the day, but didn't feel welcome.

The Ribbonwood Center is based around community improvement and support. Equipped with a modern extensive library, a day care centre and many support services are hosted there throughout the week.

DRC, is a wonderful asset to the community, with lots of function rooms, a Library & a learning centre. Also, computer learning for seniors, a valuable tool for our ever changing technical world. Voting is held there. And Community services.

Great bargains at the craft show beautiful people volunteering for a good cause, CareWays community.

The largest community building in Dapto, its owned by the wollongong city council. There is a big carpark in the complex. The ground floor has a large area used for community activities, its used as a pre polling location for elections. There is a lift and stairs to the second level, this houses the council library. There are public computers plus printing and photocopying, plus the ability to read and borrow books etc.

A wonderful community area including a large library and many rooms for meetings or other functions.

The whole centre is an asset to the community, and should be the blueprint for many more! Great library, with fantastic service, as well as interactive programs for young and old alike!

The services here are great but if you hire a room, dont leave a speck of dirt on the floor or you are flogged a cleaning fee

Children were having fun on the bouncy castle and slide etc. Lots of different foods. From different nationalities to ice cream fish and chips.dog racing. Indoor market. Nice clothing. Tasty foods and everyone enjoying themselves
