Dangar Falls reviews
77 Dangar Falls is such an amazing waterfall. Easy to get to, has toilets, a picnic and playground area and a bbq.
It was easy to walk down to the falls, only 20 minutes round trip. The observation deck is great and you can also go to the top of the falls.
Just beautiful.
An easy walk down a short path. Only a few minutes out of town. There is a new concrete path from town out to the top of the falls
Beautiful area.
The waterfall can be viewed from the lookout but you can also walk down to the river below and see the waterfall from below - we didn't do that cos of mobility issues in the party.
We saw swimmers though, so clearly it is accessible.
Very pretty falls. I was surprised at how interesting it was (not sure what I was expecting). The rock formation around the edge is fascinating
Awesome falls and swimming hole. Love this place.
Only drama was balancing on slippery rocks in fresh cold water
The Dangar Falls in Australia.is a beautiful 30 meter high cascade waterfall in the middle of a magnificent natural landscape and gives us a wonderful place of power and oasis of well-being.
Toller Pool mit kaltem Wasser und tollem Wasserfall. Guter Zugang und ein Campground daneben sowie Picknick area mit Grillstation
Absolutely stunning waterfalls!
Amazing place to swim, water is fresh and cold, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk down to the water.
Would recommend wearing water shoes as it's a bit slippery and some sharpish rocks in the water.
It's definitely a must visit!
Always a beautiful location to visit. Either from the viewing platform at the top of the walk to the bottom
Beautiful Falls. 2 minutes out of Dorrigo. Lovely picnic area. Big Trees. A labyrinth to walk also.
One of my favorite waterfalls. Perhaps even my fave. Visited multiple times but the last was the first time I swam to the rock ledge that goes behind the falls. Next level awesome! You can see from the lookout at the carpark and a brief walk to the bottom for a close up view and perhaps a swim depending on the weather. I highly recommend it. I was only going to take a few photos and head back to the national park and ended up spending most of the day. Ahhhh. Such a pleasure
It was overcast when we visited but could imagine how it would look in full sun.
Great viewing platform and the walk to the base of the falls was easy and the walkway was easy and well maintained.
It's definitely worth a look.
We didn't do the walk down to it, just viewed from the platform.
Very impressive flow.
Beautiful falls with great lookout over them. Short easy track down to bottom on boardwalk and steps. Nice quick scenic stop. Worth a drop in.
Worth the visit! Lookout right next to the car park with amazing views of the creek and water fall, then a quick walk down to the bottom where you can access the water and the waterfall. Bit of a steep walk back up for those who have bad knees though:)
Easy walk down to the water for a swim. Can get busy on a hot day. Parking playground and toilets are available,
Beautiful waterfalls, you can reach and take a swim on the bottom side of the falls. Good picnic area near the lookout with toilet, tables, clean water and barbecue area.
Short work to see these falls. Well worth the stop. Didn’t do the walk to the bottom because of the weather.
A magical place. The scenic drive of waterfall way is scenic enough. Taking the slight detour for Dangar falls can not be passed up. The water was cold, but by the time you swim to the water fall, the shivering is all worth it. I will be back!
Spectacular from the lookout and super easy to get to the lookout from the carpark, but if you are able, take the 10 min walk down to the falls themselves, it's a good spot with a bit of room to lay out your towel, there is a great swimming hole down the bottom and strong swimmers can swim out to under the falls, there is a rock ledge behind the falls so you can rest. Not so strong swimmers have the option of staying close to shore or following downstream for shallow waters. If you swim in the swimming hole, be sure to watch to watch out from above as the falls are popular with cliff divers.
