Dance Central reviews
15 Thank you Dance Central for making our Private Dance Class such a great day!
We took our 8 nephews ranging from 5 to 17 yrs old to a Private 2 hr breakdance lesson. It was a surprise to the kids, and something they had never done. The instructor, the room, the choreography was great. A memorable 2 hours!
Went to my first class here a couple of weeks ago which was at the Seymour Centre. The room was so full with people that I couldn't even stretch my arms out. It just felt pointless to be there as there wasn't even enough room to dance. The teacher didn't acknowledge how full the room was or encourage us to move around so not sure if this is normal? !
FUN, great exercise, Fantastic beats, tEaChIng is easy to follow. ALWAYS walking out feeling PUMPED excited & most of all with a DANCE sequence. Always thinking about the nxt week.
What's with all of the screaming coming out of your studio?
SO MUCH SCREAMING BY STUDENTS AND TEACHERS EVERY NIGHT.
CLEARLY NOT COMPLYING WITH COVID DIRECTIONS.
Ive visited the studio a few times with friends and fell in love with the community and classes. I loved it so much i invited a Polynesian Dance troop to perform at my Wedding. I cant thank them enough for being so professional and fun! They were the life of the party. My friends had so much fun watching and interacting in the performance. I would definately book them again and spread the word. I highly recomend booking talent through Dance Central. Affordable, creative, wonderful communication and overall fun!
Love doing classes here, the teachers are well trained and bring a great energy to every class.
Terrible, wrong behavior of one your staff member. Went there with my fiancee to learn dancing and left immediately after the second class with pure disappointment. Certain staff member believe flirting with a client (my partner) is a sense of great behavior, well it is not!
Was asked to change partners during a very intimate dance lesson and when I kindly denied it was shouted at with: "You are creating a bad mood for everyone and a bad vibe and you know you are doing something wrong! ".
Because I did not want a stranger to touch my partner on the lower back?
Very, very insensible and rude behavior. If you like to change partner or let strangers touch your partner go and visit this school.
Love to come here to dance. The staff is super friendly and you can get a class pass and come whenever you feel like it!
Lisa is an amazing instructor. Very patient, enthusiastic, and so much fun. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never had any dance lessons because Lisa will walk you through it all. Definitely a confidence booster for a new mum!
We took a dance class for a hens night and had Lisa. Lisa was amazing and so accommodating even though we were late. We had the best time and so much fun!
I've been here twice and will definitely go back! Love the casual class system. This much better suits my busy lifestyle than a locked-in term arrangement. Vey friendly staff and instructors. Great price and variety of classes. Looking forward to trying more!
I've been going to Dance Central dance classes for over 10 years. It's a cool, friendly, accessible studio that welcomes people of all dance levels. The teachers are super talented, lovely and down to earth. There is such a great vibe in there and most of all, the classes are so much fun. With a huge variety of classes to choose from I highly recommend you drop into Dance Central for the best form of therapy you can get - DANCE!
I went to a hula hooping class at dance central with bunny who is amazing. The actual studio is OK, there are three studios the two upstairs are fine but the lower studio has really low ceilings which makes throws impossible and limits some moves. But you really have to forgive all this as they have a mural to 'Ahhh! Real Monsters! '
The range of classes on offer are is great. They have some unique stuff that is hard to find around Sydney. Niche classes like Burlesque, Hula Hoop Dance and Dancehall.
I travel from out west to dance here. Wish it was closer to me!
The studio spaces are lovely too. Nice and large will well maintained hardwood floors and mirrors.
We had the best time ever! Booked a Burlesque class for a hens party and 90% of us were hesitant as we aren't dancers but after the class we don't know why.the teacher just made the whole experience amazing.she really made us all feel at ease and made the class really fun.definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing this.thanks satin spitfire - you were amazing!
