I was with one my closest friend to buy some fake plants to put in her office so the office looks alive.

The kids absolutely love visiting Daiso each time we go to the city. Shame the other one has closed down as this store is a lot tighter to walk around. We always come out with something we never knew we needed.

Unfortunately not one product in their store had a price tag. Would have loved to buy stuff, but not when I have to guess the prices

I walked in not looking for anything in particular but they have some really good nifty things that only Japan could think off. They have everything from containers to makeup to kitchen cutlery to toiletries to stationary. Quite reasonably priced. If you're looking for some handy things or to make things look more friendly around the house, you just might find that at Daiso.
I walked out with a couple of lunch boxes, backpack, slippers, lint roller and those refillable bottles for shampoo /body wash. You can spend a good hour in there just looking. Haha

Nice bug store, clean and spacious (although the flow and product placement of items,), helpful nice staff. Prices have continued to rise tho, I was surprised to see it's (at the time of this review) up to $3.20 and not all items anymore.

Rude customer service. Was told to 'move and come back later' after I apparently was in the way of a staff member unpacking merchandise around lunchtime today. If only the staff member knew that I didn't live in Sydney and had travelled 2.5hrs to get to the store. Otherwise I usually love coming to this store to stock up on Japanese snacks and products.

Store is nice but the dank smoke smell is overwhelming and headache inducing, can barely go in and grab what we need.

Plenty of options and made in Japan stuff. Would definitely recommend to come when you want to pick up something small for home. We picked up some socks for our chair! Little knick knacks are great and quite well made. Value for money however be aware there are some stuff which is dubious in quality. Overall have a lot of great snacks!

Great range of products, and good location close to Town Hall Station. Staff are all usually quite friendly but experienced excellent service from team member Aaron yesterday afternoon. He looked extremely busy but still found the time to help me locate an item and even brought me a shopping basket when I was carrying too many items.

Excellent attention to detail. This shop makes you feel like a valued customer and not just a number! Thanks again.

Great Japanese discount store in the city. Stocks a lot of various items (household products, skincare, tools, kitchen items, etc) and food, beverages and snacks from Japan. Most items does not have prices mark, which means it is priced at $2.80. Other items have prices marked.

Update: stock of certain items are low or no longer there anymore, therefore less range to choose from. Not sure if it is because of COVID, But still a lot of things in store.

Great range of food, products and more of a range of products compared to other Daiso stores. Will come back again. The staff were attentive and didn't have to wait in line long at all to pay.

My favorite Daiso in Sydney. Has lots of Japanese condiments for yakiniku, various instant ramens and most especially AGF Blendy Stick matcha latte powder. Plus point that they sell Hada Labo and the like.

They've got a lot to choose from! (though the food section was missing Hello Panda)

Neat, furnished store.

Good quality items compared to usual dollar shops. Most of the the items are reasonably priced. Only very few items I wasn't happy. But overall value for money place

Price are much higher than Japan but I appreciate it. However some staff in the shop are kind of rude. They look like having the worst day in their life. I sometime left the shop with uncomfortable feeling. Hope they can improve the customer services.

Don't usually write reviews but very good experience with salesperson Aaron in Daiso. Usually when something is unavailable, staff just say they don't have it (which is ok) and just walk away. However, Aaron is always very considerate, recommends other options and offers to help me find alternatives. I look forward to shopping here every time.

A convenient japanese dollars store with wide ranges of japanese products from snacks, drinks, cook accesories, stationaries.etc which are found to be handy and neat at mostly flat and reasonable prices. It comes with varieties of japanese restaurant and cake and sweet shops within the same building. Must go!

Pretty good quality for the price! We used to spent stupid amount of money for mere storage items, which the quality isn’t any better. 80% of basic household items can be covered by this store!
