40Never ever I have seen like this Korean BBQ restaurant as superb, awesome food tastes, service.excellent restaurant in the Australia.
If you miss Korean food, come to Daejanggeum!
It was the best dolsot bibimbap I had in Sydney. Parents are also satisfied.
Excellent food. We had grilled beef & chicken which were really yummy. The side dishes were very tasty too. Olive is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our dinning experience here.
Had BBQ beef platter, marinated pork ribs and chicken.very tender cuts.
Delicious side dishes. Excellent service.
Great beef and food for BBQ.
Service was amazing with waiters willing to help out with cooking.
Amazing sides and food.
10/10 would recommend.
Pretty good KBBQ place in Sydney
Everyone was very welcoming and kind! The food was really nice and the atmosphere is very chill. Loved the variety in side dishes aswell. Ive gone here lots of times and was never disappointed with the service.
The food was good but the customer service ruined the entire experience. The female staff was very blunt. She said that the restaurant had a rule that we could order only 1 soju person. Well this would make sense if you had a disclaimer in your menu or even if the staff had mentioned it before we started ordering. This is very misleading for the customers who want to enjoy and have a good evening rather than being micromanaged for what you eat and drink. It creates a very bad customer experience.
Had the BBQ for two, reasonably priced, right amount of food, good quality products and very tasty. Had to line up for a bit, but didn’t wait for too long. Definitely worth it and would highly recommend.
Fried kimchi and beef in hot stone bowl $22
Sweet and spicy boneless fried chicken half $22
Food was good
Friendly staff
Good Korean place in the city.
We got the spicy pork bulgogi and the beef galbi.
The pork was extremely flavourful and tender with the marinade being sweet and slightly spicy.
The galbi was also tender and the marinate was good as well.
The japche was good but nothing special.
There was a good variety of banchan to eat. However, they ran out of lettuce when we wanted to refill.
The food came out quickly.
The staff came around frequently to change the grill and take orders.
One thing to improve on would be the scissors as they barely cut the meat.
Prices are typical of a normal Korean spot.
Overall, a good place to visit.
One of the best Korean restaurant in Sydney, This restaurant offers range of food on their menu such as korean chicken, bbq, sides and rice. What is more, there are so many side dishes for free. It was good food and at a reasonable price.
Overall very good and tasty! We had a shabu shabu and kimchi pancake. I really enjoyed everything. I like how crispy the pancake was and how the shabu shabu had a shallow pan so I could everything. I look forward to coming back and trying more!
Really rude customer service, they didn’t ask about last order and suddenly when we want to order they said kitchen close.
Beef Bulgogi is always
Seafood soup as always yummy.
Amazing seafood pancakes even though colour is a bit pale look like Under cook but tasty.
Pretty pricey kbbq. There wasn’t a lot of organisation with the staff and service. The food itself wasn’t worth the price, but still okay.
First time I tried Korean food just wow the best food & service I ever had the owner & stuff r amazing beautiful people thank you
Really nice place. After the renovation its even better. The staff is very humble, generous and polite from the security to manager everyone. Food is awesome, value of money is best in town. Overall its highly recommended.
IT IS SO FRESH. There are loads of great options but if you get the chance get the seafood. It is so fresh and perfectly prepared.
The staff are great. The restaurant is a bit cramped (like everywhere in this area) but it has a real authentic vibe.
We took a large group and shared a range of dishes, everyone had something they really enjoyed. It for sure somewhere I would take all my mates.
The service i got was amazing
I would go back just for the service. Me and a bunch of friends went here we was served by a m elizabeth (i Dont want to post her full name)
The server was very professional she was a great attended and our needs never went unfulfilled
she was polite and friendly and by the end of our meal we felt as if we made a new freind
My guests commended her on her skills multiple times in our meal.
The food.
Was ok
The best parts for me the veg
My guests liked the pork belly so much so they ordered a second helping
If you never been befor.how you eat it is you grab a bit of lettuces.add toppings.roll then chew
(Kinda simple but for a first timer could be confusing)
The small plates can be refilled free
the meat prices can get quite high for small servings
To drink i recommend the peach soju.and don't forget to hydrate with complimentary water
Our meal for 4 cost us around 160 with drinks.but it can easily go higher
Would i go again
For the food.there are other options in the city quite similar
but for the service
I would have to say here is my new favourite resturants
Everything basic checks out for us including service, staff response time, food quality, ambiance, cleanliness of the surroundings, staff level of friendliness. Toilet is clean as well. Colour scheme of the place and I like the staff approach of reminding us to check-in our COVID apps.
