Cubic Escape Room

Fantastic! So much fun. It was a tough challenge but we were able to complete the game. Really impressive set up, great sci-fi story and lots of super tricky puzzles.

This was a great experience! The room is well-thought out and high-tech, and you have 90 minutes to complete it, so longer than most rooms. There were some really cool touches and surprises as well.

I love this place. The most fun I've had. Amazing atmosphere and great way to spend with friends. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great experience. Worthy of recommendation “project delta”

I really don't understand why this place has got so many good reviews! Probably friends and family giving it 5 stars to support their business.

We did The Recording Device room on 5/3/22. There was too much information to read and carry around with you throughout the game. One of the characters wasn't even allowed to play for most of the game due to the "story. " The aircon was barely on and it was very humid/hot. The clues were not great. For some clues, you had to listen over the speakers and the audio was very low. Also, the person giving us the clues over the walkie talkie was hard to understand.

In the end, you had to look at a presentation regarding the "mystery. " There was nothing to "escape. " it WASN'T an escape room, more of a mystery. Too expensive for what it is.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially if you've been to places like The Cipher Room which set a very high standard.

EDIT (to reflect the business's response) -

The character cards say that 1 person was to wait until rain stopped and the rain didn't stop until 1 hour into the game. This game is all about the murder and the fact that it has a whole PowerPoint presentation about the murder which we had to watch on a very low volume.

One of the character cards also say who murdered so there's no point in solving a mystery when one of us knows.

Was excited that a new escape room was in town. Did project delta with my partner. Unfortunately none of the puzzles worked and the GM had to come in repeatedly to fix the puzzles. The GM was kind enough to refund the cost at the end of the session.

I reread the reviews and they definitely seem to oversell the place. Disappointed: (

Nice place to have fun. I did rooms call project delta that is high tech puzzle and amazing space ship driving so cool. Also staff very friendly and helpful. I will be recommend to my friends

Review from a team who did 100+ escape rooms.

Short:
1. Bad English
2. Non conventional escape room / no idea what to do and why.
3. Project Delta vs Recording Device worse room but less annoying.
4. Reused riddles in both rooms and riddles in one room.
5. Press a button riddle
6. Ok tech, nicely put together but not always working.

1. Staff really need to improve their English, employ fluent / natives or just come up with on screen hint system etc. When the challenge to understand the hint is harder than the flue itself is just a horrible experience

2. We did Recording Device as first room with them, it wasn't classic escape room where you had escape. You play characters and you have to do something. The problem is we didn't understand what do we have to do, we went to the room we had no idea what do we need to do / what's our objective.

3. Project Delta has the story like, played from a video (decent English, easy to understand, we knew what we are doing). I feel like they were running out of ideas to finish this one. I think the Recording Device is a better room but probably had more fun playing Project Delta as we understood what we are doing and why.

4. When we were there they only had 2 rooms and one riddle was kind of reused in the 2nd room, one room had 2 reused riddles in the same room, for the first time when you had to figure out how to do something it's fun but 8f you have to do almost exactly the same to open 2nd door half an hour later - it's just annoying.

5. I haven't seen the "riddle": 'hold this button for 10s' to open the lock for few years now, but this one has it! I don't understand why people still do it.

6. Overall the rooms are well built, nothing obvious like cables or mechanism sticking out attracting attention, doesn't look cheap. However we had an incident that we solved a riddle and something supposed to fall down so we can use it but it didn't, so GM had to come to our room and give us the item, we didn't wait long so probably well know issue to them.

Today, I found a new escape room in Sydney. As an escape room enthusiast, this store has surprises me. Cool sense of technology, puzzles fit the story line with high-tech. Worthy of recommendation “project delta”

This is a great place in Sydney! My firends and I have done quite a few escape rooms. Some great puzzles that are quite different to other rooms. The host was lovely, and he gave us perfect hints and clues to finish.

My friends recommend this store for me and I done the project delta. High tech puzzles are amazing enjoy the great time. I will be recommend to other friends.

It's a new escape room. My friend and I came to the store this weekend. The content of the game surprised me. We had a good time.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Once we arrived, they made us feel welcomed, and afterward made us feel like we’d accomplished something. Very recommendation! We’re looking forward to getting back and going through another room!

This my first time know cubic escape room. Its new escape room in city and we done the recording device at the weekend. It a little bit hard for beginners but still a fun game. We are achieved in time very exciting for us. Friendly staff to help us when we stuck with some puzzles that really helpful. All the club fit in storyline and technical.

Did Project Delta in 2. Very challenging room but well made with lots of details. Also like the story line and puzzles. Very mechanical and tech. Escape but with 10mins extra. Better with 1 or 2 more people which might help moving things faster.

Interesting room good to team work.a bit difficult for me.we not finish on time but nice staff give us 10 more mins.good place and keep going
