Cubby Bakehouse reviews
51Stopped for morning tea travelling south on the highway. The placed was packed (and it's big), but was still served within the 15 minutes they quoted. Yummy food and coffee.
Thanks guys. Absolutely love your chinny burger, the beef pattie was divine and the pickles had the perfect zing! Avocado on sourdough was delicious! The coffee is 5️. We will be back.
Absolutely froth the pastries from here especially with that stunning mango chutney, but even better is the green soba noodle salad with tofu on the side. The flavours are amazing! Food comes super quick even when busy, love that we can bring our puppy too.
Great food and service. Only issue of late is the head banging monotonous music that staff play. This ruins the laid back northern rivers vibe. It also ruins the potential for an overall wonderful experience. Appropriate and sophisticated music for dining would be preferred.
We visit Cubby Bakehouse as often as we can as it's a beautiful spot, service is good and the food is great. Highly recommend that you try it.
We ordered takeaway, sadly there was a mix up with other orders and our fried eggs were left to the side, and were cold and under cooked rather then make a fresh one when our other order came out. Our scrambled eggs had a puddle of oil in the centre (gross) and the bacon is of cheap quality and very fatty. The was coffee nice the location is lovely. Quite expensive for the quality there are better places around for that price.
Amazing, got a caramel shake and one of their bolognaise sausage rolls. Going back tomorrow.
Fabulous breakfast. Generous serving sizes and quick service despite being busy. The Thai salad was also amazing.
You have to go! The menu is fantastic, you can’t go past the twists on Bahn mi. We’ve had the hot pork one, and the bacon egg one. So yummy. The donuts are delicious. Not to mention good hot coffee. There is a lot of space for dining, and a wonderful outdoor area that is pet friendly. I will definitely be back, thanks Cubby team!
Good position on tweed river. Reasonable priced and well cooked, presented. Nice outlook. Good menu to eat in or takeaway. Sweets yummy!
Lovely position, overlooking the Tweed. Good menu to suit the whole family, quality food and service. Its nice that it really feels like a family business.
We went there for brunch and the food selection on the menu was just great. They serve food until 2 pm. We ordered the Avocado Sourdough with 2 poached eggs and the Bacon and Egg Banh Mi with Sweet potato fries. The meal was filling and very delicious loved it!
Great coffee and pastries.
Great view and easy parking. Stumbled accross this place and will visit again next time I am in the region.
Amazing! Stopped on the way to Brissy from Sydney and again on the way home. Coffee was so good and I loved the lemon tart, Staff were very efficient and professional. Really everything was exceptional and hat's off to the bakers.
Pastries were tasty and you can tell they have very well trained bakers however I’m not sure it justifies the price. We didn’t get lunch, but just looking at the menu for a banh mi is $17! Really expensive pricing. For that amount I’d hope it was the best banh mi ever.
Nice outdoor area to sit with dogs. No water bowls for dogs. Drinks and chips served in paper cups. Would be good to avoid single-use products. Food came out quickly which was good but wasn’t amazing. Would be good if they focused a bit more on presentation, ingredients, etc. Staff are very friendly.
I love this place. Best almond croissant I've ever eaten, everything they bake is delicious. Coffee could be better, they need to get Ground Control beans!
Sorry Cubby Bakehouse I hadn't finished my review and didn't realise it had posted. Great location and service. Was a drive by to check out location. Stopped in only for a few sweet treats, but will be back to check out the main menu. Loved the truck out back.
Great coffee. Had scrambled eggs which came out like an omelette. Wasn't impressed with that but they did still taste nice. If in the area I'd go back.
The location is great and better seating options now they have that area under trees adjoining. Coffee is good and so is the service. Just feel that the food is quite expensive. Eclaires for example at $6.50 quite small and look "airy". Tarts etc small and again dear for what you get. But no one said you have to eat and prices obviously don't bother those we saw chowing down.
