Crunch Fitness Bankstown reviews
56 I embarked on my fitness journey with Crunch back in 2013, and over the past nine years, I've witnessed the ebb and flow of different managements and structural changes within the Bankstown branch. My loyalty to Crunch has been unwavering, maintaining a yearly membership at a cost of $200.
Throughout the years, my interactions with the staff and various managers have been positive, fostering a sense of connection with the club. However, recent developments, particularly my experience in 2022, have left me disheartened, leading to the difficult decision of not renewing my membership.
Despite the evolving nature of membership fees, I had reached an agreement with the manager for a reduced rate, acknowledging my extended loyalty. Regrettably, during my subsequent visit, I faced an unexpected hurdle as entry was denied, with the demand to pay the full amount.
Understanding that retaining the initial rate from years ago is impractical, I had hoped that nearly a decade of dedication and loyalty would warrant some form of consideration—a token of appreciation for a steadfast customer.
In my view, a gym's profitability hinges on its ability to retain loyal patrons. The local pool of potential gym-goers is finite, and sustaining a steady influx is contingent on retaining existing customers. Failing to recognize the value of long-term commitment risks not only disappointing loyal clients but also jeopardizing the club's overall revenue.
As a customer who has witnessed the transformations within Crunch Fitness over the years, it is disheartening to find my loyalty seemingly undervalued in recent interactions. I believe a fair and considerate approach to membership renewals is crucial for both customer satisfaction and the long-term prosperity of the gym.
In conclusion, while my journey with Crunch has been marked by positive experiences, the recent turn of events has prompted me to reconsider my affiliation with the club. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken into account, and improvements are made to ensure that loyal customers are not only recognized but also rewarded for their enduring commitment to Crunch Fitness.
I rang to ask kindly how old i have to be to sign up there, and the person on the phone proceeded to mock me by saying the same thing in a mutch higher pitched voice.i hung up immediately from disgust, definitely never going to be my choice of gym again.
Love Crunch Fitness Bankstown. The members and staff are inclusive and the vibe is so relaxed and fun.
Friendly staff, clean site and fairly new working equipment for everyone to use. Excellent classes not packed out better to attend in the morning as the afternoon after 4pm can get a little crowed.
Seriously I have a qus to crunch management.no carrying bag while doing gym, is it for as a joke? Lots of people doing gym with bag with them. Teasing womans is regular things at crunch. Guys grouping and yell with loud voice happening always and management always silent about it. Also gym staff acting like they own the gym.lots of attitudes. Attached picture for people doing exercise with bag.
Rudest customer service ever. They dont even reply when I say good morning or even look at me. If you're not within the "gang" members they dont greet you
Guys giving use best advice DO NOT sign up at this gym they will literally waste your time. They will keep ringing you to invite you to a free trial and you turn up there and they will tell you sorry can’t let you. That gym is rubbish worst gym ever disgusting gym and stuff, disrespectful stuff they don’t have respect they are little rats that gym that company should be shut down no point it’s called rubbish gym they made me leave work to come try out this gym turned out to be liars and peace of rubbish rats I went up off at the manager face to face told him your the manager you’re meant to take responsibility so wake up and teach your stuff how to do their jobs.
Love my local. Great people working there. Good energy and vibes. Most people are civil and just there to workout. Decent prices too and equipment is reasonable. Just getting a bit busier these days.
The worst place to go i requested to cancel my membership ages ago and still sending an email to pay plus, still trying to charge to my accounts.
So happy that I have tried out this place. Spacious and lot of gym equipment to exercise yourself. I am just out of sickness and need to exercise to get my weight back to healthy level. Found out that Crunch has budget memberships for beginners like me. First, I was questioning myself that why the weekly fee is so low compared to many other local gyms, maybe the place is not very good. However, after trying the first free visit, I was so happy of the Crunch Bankstown. It was so good more than what I was expecting.
Good gym, but Crunch fitness need to change those stairmasters, it's 2023 most gyms have electric stairmaster nowadays.
Also need to add hard/wooden floor for squat racks!
Staff helpful and friendly, however, stricter rules regarding the behaviour of some of the gym patrons and usage of towels. Equipment needs an overhaul and toilets more cleaning. Would love to see the massage chairs here as in other Crunch gyms
Lebos ruined this gym they act like wild dogs. Either that or they hog equipment and socialise
Airconditioner is never on, they blame it on centre management of bankstown centro but frankly they do nothing to fix it. Lots of machines always broken amd typicaal hygiene of the gym is vsstly lacking. The typical demographic of people that join the gym are akin to animals.
The Zumba classes are super fun! The instructors give their all to make the class enjoyable. I personally really recommend Yoshi (Friday night) and Pritti’s (Sunday morning) classes. They’re probably one of the more high intensity classes and I burn a lot of calories while having a great time in those two:)
Overall gym cleanliness could be improved and a lot of the people in this gym don’t really re-rack their weights and sometimes leave them lying around in random places. The price of the membership and fact that it is month to month is what is amazing though and helps to look past those things.
Customer service is great. Although, I find the "Tattooed [=]abibs" those chicken on steroids looking men with fake blended accents annoying as f*£.
Terrible service. Absolutely would not recommend. On multiple occasions I have been stopped from entering the gym because of "card payment issues" despite supplying my very much in-date card info multiple times and being assured by the staff that these issues have now been fixed each time (clearly not). This has meant I'm always missing classes that I planned to go to.
Then most recently, I get told I'm not allowed in because although I only brought my yoga mat for a class; I didn't bring a towel. This is happening whilst another girl walks right through with exactly what I'm holding, a yoga mat and no towel but of course she was not stopped. I look around the gym and there are multiple people with no towels.
Now I'm all for enforcement of rules, but it is when it is clearly inconsistent that I am left with no choice but to conclude that this gym discriminates. I'm cancelling membership. Why would I pay so much to NOT get to my workout session AND get frustrated everyday?
Staff are very freindly. The gym recieved a nice upgrade of new equipment and new lights. Ask for Banana if you want some training advice, biggest boy in the gym.
Lot of hidden charges so don't fall for low weekly fees. Also, machines remain faulty for even months and no one fix it.
Poor quality gym that isn't cleaned often. The staff there are so rude its incredible esp melody she is soooooo FAKE its quiet funny. She's the kind of person that would smile in your face while politely telling you to f off. Im cancelling my membership
