CRU Camps reviews
14Thank you CRU team! My son just came back from Brightwaters and he is raving about it, the activities, the food, the people, the staff. He is ecstatic about everything. We are very thankful to all of you providing such great camps for children.
Our son, Jack (12), attended the summer Escape Camp at Lake Mac in January. We were quite anxious at first as we’d never been on a Cru Camp and he wasn’t going with anyone he knew. Well we needn’t have worried. He had a ball. Raved about the awesome leaders, daily activities and fantastic food! Summer camps have come a long way since our day. Who raves about camp food!? !? Days were filled with rock climbing, raft building, water parks, sailing, paddle boarding …the works! An entire week DEVICE FREE. Even he admitted it felt good!
Thanks team! We will be booking in for Brightwaters at Easter!
About to go on a camp so exited and kinda scared hope I have a good time see you there cru members
CRU camps are incredible. My son has attended the Lake Macquarie Autumn Camp and has just attended the Dirt Bike Camp this Winter, so a total of 2 camps 2022. When a 14yo boy comes home excited about a camp, you know it was good. He raved about the camp food (unlike school camps) he loved it. He really like the team leaders on these camps and found them engaging, energic and fun. He loves everything about these camps and has only positive feedback - that's big coming from my son. He is now thinking of becoming a camp team leader one day. CRU Camps - well done!
My daughters have gone on a few CRU camps. They had the best time and want to go on one every year. The camps are run so well, the leaders are fantastic and the camps are lots of fun. My girls came back from camp with new friends and lots of great memories. They also learnt a lot about Jesus and grew a lot in their faith.
We've sent our kids on CRU Camps multiple times - they're a fixture in our annual family calendar.
We trust CRU completely. The care the leaders show our kids is second-to-none. The kids come back from camp having had an incredible time and asking when they can go on another one.
Highly recommended!
My daughter went on a CRU Camp last holidays and absolutely loved it! Highly recommend, and will be sending her on a camp again soon.
I went on a CRU Camp just this past week and loved it! The leaders were tireless in ensuring the kids had a safe and happy week! The food was fresh and delicious! The experiences on the rock climbing wall, sailing, canoeing and awesome games the kids played!
I would recommend any one to send their kids along to a CRU Camp!
It is a worth experience that i had.i am a non religion person but the school and cru compulsory teaching me to join it and love 'god' which makes me feel annoyed.this camp costs lots of money to join it which if you want to join this cru, please consider it carefully before you hand in your application.
There’s nothing I can say against CRU Camps. I attended Sailing Adventure 2017,2018,2019 and 2020 and hope to continue on as a leader in the future. The fact that I went back 4 years in a row pretty much tells you what I thought of it. I made some amazing friends, got to really know and admire our God and created memories I’ll hopefully remember forever. Even as a non-Christian, you’ll still absolutely love CRU Camps. It’s an experience of a lifetime and I’m so glad I could to be a part of it.
Honestly spectacular, all components of the camp were amazing, and I wouldn't do anything but recommend this organisation for a church retreat.
Lots of fun and a nice way to learn about christianity without even thinking about it.highly recommended.
Literally the worst experience of my life. I went on the Study Camp Week One of Term 2 Holidays in 2019 and there was literally nothing I could compliment about this camp. We had cold showers for the first two nights even after telling a leader the first night that we didn't have any. Some of the leaders are great people, however others are way too controlling and will make your experience so much worse. The food tasted like it came out of the rubbish tip. I did get a fair amount of study on this camp, however had to constantly use my phone hotspot because the wifi couldn't even load my school page.
If you're going to go on this thing, make sure that you understand what you are getting into. This may be a great time, or it may be torture for a week.
