Good chicken and been a staple of wattle grove for quite some time now.would recommend coming here for a quick bite as the prices are alright for the quality.staff is happy and food is prepared quickly. Additionally you can see all the food being prepared.

Had the chicken, salad and chip combo. Charcoal chicken was hot out and was really moist and flavourful. Plenty of salad options to choose from so you can’t go wrong. Defs recommend trying

Always happy to have a meal here. Stick with the classic chicken, chips and garlic sauce and chicken tender.

The price they charged for a calamari pack and they don't throw in tartar sauce. Like you got to be kidding. 6 pieces of calamari and literally a handful of shoestring chips. The tiniest piece of lemon wedge. I was tempted to leave the meal on the counter.

Nestled in the peaceful community of Wattle Grove, the humble Crown Charcoal Chicken. This place is the definition of a sleeper. This place is the food equivalent of running a fully staunch supercharged V8 in the engine bay of your Prius. You wouldn’t think much at first glance, but once you experience it, it blows your mind.

The chips at this joint stand side by side with the avengers as the unsung hero’s of modern culture. The Porto burger and home-made chilli sauce is absolutely top notch, do yourself a favour, add bacon and avocado and enjoy!

At any normal shop your typical desert items are your brownies, your cakes, maybe a muffin. This place takes everything you think you know about desert and throws it straight into the garbage. Things are different at Crown, here the humble rice pudding gets a shoe in, and serves as a well rounded end to an intense feed. A sparse but generous sprinkle of cinnamon takes care of the spice factor and takes the buds on a journey to satisfaction Street.

Do yourself a favour, get in here.

I've been getting charcoal chickens here for 25 years and no matter where I go in Sydney or around Australia, nothing beats them. Always cooked to perfection and very tasty, just the best! The chips are delicious too. Yesterday I had the Hawaiian burger which was sensational - very generous size and that great old-school flavour. A lot of reviews here saying the staff are "scary" or unfriendly. I must admit, they've never been overly warm, but yesterday I received a smile (probably the first one in a long time) from the young girl who took my order!

Chicken either undercooked or very dry. Usually a lot more dry if you purchase before 11am as they ‘put out’ the previous nights unsold and or precooked chicken. Have you seen these guys roasting a dozen or more chicken around 6pm say on a Monday night? How can you sell a dozen or more whole chickens with less than 2 hours until closing time? We’ll simply you can’t. This is a common practice that saves time for the next morning ‘opening time’… “ready cooked chicken”! Aside from this and probably minor detail above everything else; these people never smile. See for yourself; go and order your meal, you wait maybe 5 - 15 min depending on what you order and then sit back and observe look of disdain on their face they have with every customer they serve whilst you wait. The little Indonesian girl is probably the worst out of them all. The poor little Aussie dude (usually with green hair) always looks petrified. Locals calls them ‘Judgemental Chuckles Chickens’

Really nice food, always good. Only negative is the time they close is so early. 8pm is too early.
