Croudace Tea & Coffee House reviews
18Poor service in food and coffee preparation. Expect to wait an unreasonable amount of time for below average food and coffee.
Since the take over of new owners, the Tea House has plummeted in popularity. The standard of Service and Quality of food has fallen dramatically, yet the prices have climbed. It's now just and unsatisfactory rip-off.
Nice food, fast service, on the pricier side but still better than what you get from inside the hospitals.
They can’t even perform the basic functions of hospitality service of taking an order and then giving you what you ordered. Do yourself a favour and go next door to Hudsons
Fast efficient service, friendly staff. Nice to have bite to eat and excellent hot chocolate while waiting for a surgical procedure or friend.
If you like freshly cooked baked and prepared food this is a great place for it, not to mention great baristas and service. Always a pleasure
Very obliging staff. Nice food prepared quickly and lovely coffee.
Very pleasant experience overall!
Been there a few times this week. Each time staff were rude and made me feel very unwelcome. Pretty sure I was overcharged for lunch, $37 for a re heated lasagne/ salad and two smoothies. I’m going to the cafeteria in John Hunter next time! Much better there!
The staff were exceptionally rude and dismissive. Costs nothing to smile and be courteous to customers. Will never go there again.
Had MorningTea at this cafe, which is based near Newcastle Private Hospital. Coffee that I had was great. Food was excellent too. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. They're also very welcoming. I'll be back there sometime in the future.
Delicious food, and a relaxed tranquil heritage setting. Nice quiet little hideaway between both hospitals. Shady courtyard with pram/wheelchair access makes it a great place for parents and physically challenged. Try the delicious Veggie Burger:)

The morning staff not very friendly at all and then I received the worst brekkie ever burnt bacon and eggs flipped over not fried as supposed to be.not tasty at all
Coffee is ok but service is sub par. The ladies behind the counter greeted my goodmorning with a silent squint eyed glare. Why doesn't anyone smile anymore? Give take away cups even though i was dining in and talk about how hung over they are. I'll get my coffee on the way next time.
Convenience plus if your visiting or staying at the hospital. The food variety is not huge but still more then enough to satisfy your hunger. The food is nice, good size portions. Although the prices are a bit high.
Very convenient within the hospital grounds. The schnitzel bacon burger was delicious and the caramel slice was absolutely fantastic. The coffee service was pretty quick as well.perfect to sit outside on a nice sunny day and get a bit of a break from sitting in the hospital rooms.
Expensive for what it is but the good is great. Always get burgers when i come. Though if you come too late they run out
Top notch bacon and egg rolls. Fries to die for, lucky you're near the hospital *badumtish*. Seriously, it's good tucker.
