Crosslands Reserve reviews
65Love the crosslands. Awesome amenities, lots of tap water. BBQs tables with shade structures, there are heaps of bathrooms with flushing water that is siphoned into a lovak wetland heaps of wash basins. Right on the river. Be prepared, though: There are heaps of cicadas and lots of mozzies.
Great family day out. Good for a picnic and easy hike along the trail. The river is clean and good for swimming and SUP.
We camped the night, great spot close to home to test out the new swag, next time we will take out fishing lines and canoe and stay minimum of 2 nights
We camped on friday evening in May-21, was not busy so very relaxed place, campfires, BBQ, serene natural beauty, seems away from city even though it is close.good clean flush toilet and water connection.toilet facilities might be challenge when it is busy.otherwise good for families - swings and flying fox for kids.though not a typical campground, you can camp by your car which makes it a little bit hassle to carry all your stuff to your tent location from parking.
One of my favourite places to go to for relaxation and a bit of nature. Very good bushwalking starts from here. It has a small playground and flying fox, as well as picnic shelters and electric BBQ. There are toilets at either end of the reserve, and drinking water is available. Swimming can be done here but it is advised to check the water quality beforehand (council website).
A camping site that has everything. From an extraordinary view and ample place to stay, to fresh drinking water and clean toilets. Highly recommended
Beautiful picnic spots, hiking trails and so much more, interesting facts to read along the hikes.
Great campsite close to Sydney. Need to book in advance. Unfortunately when we were there last, a large group were loud all the time even late evening.
We went after rain. It’s a nice place, but there were lots of mosquitoes. It is a swamp area. Clearly the area was overflowed by recent rain. Only some puddles were remaining.
The perfect little peace of paradise to escape to for the day, beautiful picnic spots, hiking trails and so much more.
Don't go here on a summer afternoon its facing west, although i roasted i also felt at peace in the trees just the heat and the trees such a wonderful sweat lodge. February 2022.
Beautiful camping spot nestled on the bank of Berowra Creek! Thank you for the clean and well maintained toilets! Really appreciated the water fountain, the water taps scattered throughout the camp and the roof covered picnic tables! Thank you!
Enjoyed this place as i learned to do stand up paddling. Perfect place for it as water current is not too strong but enough to keep you going. Lovely scenery to enjoy and you can see some fish now and then.
Generally, pretty quiet, available to access bbq grills most time. People r family groups or gentle.
Wild nature. You can also do camping.
Clean toilets
Free.
Never issued for parking lots.
Great place for a picnic or easy camping. The facilities are clean, the creek beautiful for a swim and the whole area just nice.
Nice quiet place with extending green lawns to have a nice family Sunday day out or an outdoor BBQ. Few huts are available but BBQ grills are not avaialable. Can easily find a shade under a tree for a picnic mat.
Toilets avaiable on both sides of the park. Plenty of parking are there.
River was bit muddy on the day we visited. But kids can enjoy some water play. Recommend a life jacket for toddlers and small kids as water is quite deep near to the shore.
Small sand beach is available.
Large, accessible camping and BBQ area, relatively clear signage, and well maintained toilets. Great access to clean water off you’re camping or hiking through. Also some fun play areas for the kids, easy access to the river for a swim, and some fun wildlife around the area
Great little place to launch a kayak or SUP. Nice calm and pretty paddling. Good bush walking and camping.
There are public toilets here. At low tide, it’s easy to enter and exit the river at many points and is very family friendly. Very limited parking at peak times though.
