I am sorry to hear about your experience and we really appreciate your feedback. I would like to take the chance to comment on your points.
1. You have been our client since 2011 and we have not received any complaints in these 7 years from you about poor service.
2. The fees were according to the scope of work we agreed on and an invoice was issued detailing the work to be done and we delivered what we promised.
3. The ABN we put in your tax return was provided by you and as you might know that the system doesn’t accept invalid ABNs.
4. We recommended that you use a bookkeeper and focus on your business. Based on your request, we referred you to someone who you dealt with directly to fix your accounts. You were not happy with his service and preferred to continue doing it yourself. However, you used Xero, which is understandably a challenging software to manage correct figures, and this was your choice. We can only advise you about managing your business, but we cannot force you to take the recommended measures which we give as guidance from years of experience.
5. In using your own software for bookkeeping, it is fair to assume that you would have a basic knowledge in accounting, and it is not fair to blame us for not knowing your software.
6. We are not sure about what you mean by “anything advice” and what silly mistakes you refer to, and if we did make errors, you could have definitely raised this with us. We are always happy to receive feedback from our customers, and endeavour to improve our service.
7. We are always up to date with replying our emails and phone calls, and you definitely would have experienced this within the last 7 years. Our communication is an aspect that we pride ourselves greatly on, having heard the many acclamations from our customers on our ability to respond to their queries and concerns.
8. We provide a time frame to complete the work in advance and we always stick to it. As was the case for the work we did for you.

I don't think I've experienced such poor service from an accountant. After paying 4 tax returns and 2k of fees this guy didn't even know what ABN to put on my paper work. I basically gave him all my numbers and info all he did was punch them in on his side without learning or giving me anything advice about my business and still made many silly mistakes. Extremely poor communication aswell. Not to mention it took 4 weeks to get my paper work. Moral of the story here is learn to do it yourself and actually pay attention to your customers needs. I feel very ripped off

I have been using Cross tax accountants for my bussiness for the past 3 years, and my tax has always been logged as soon as the fiancial year has ended. This was due to the great service and ablilities of the acountant! I recommended this agency to anyone and everyone!

When it comes to accountants, there are many qualities which you look for such as being trustworthy, realistic, professional and honest. Hany and the team tick all the boxes. A friend of mine saved $23 000 because of their honesty, legislative knowledge and professional advice.
