Placed an online order - no update or even confirmation of order was received - waited 7 days for order confirmation or tracking information even though website says 0-2 days processing time to get tracking details.
Unfortunately had to lodge a PayPal dispute to get them to process the order and send the goods - on a positive note when they sent it it arrived overnight.
It's hard to support smaller hobby shops if this is the service you receive - not really confidence inspiring for the customer not knowing what is happening with your order

Ordered and paid for parts that they didn’t have in stock. Was told parts they had were posted express post that day. Almost a week later still not posted. Full of promises and attitude when you contact them by phone. Not very professional

Placed an online order, heard nothing for 9 days. Emailed them 2 days ago, heard nothing back. Have now started a PayPal dispute to get my money back.

This shop is absolutely dodgy and should be avoided.

I called on the phone, requesting a part for a truck only to be treated, poorly Worst phone manner quite arrogant and rude. Would never spend my money there again.
In this day and age, most hobby shops pride themselves in customer service to try and combat the online platform but now I can see why people shop online.

I purchased a diecast model as a gift on Monday. The model in question is marked as IN STOCK on the website. Come Wednesday I STILL hadn't received any notification it has been posted. I call the store and get a guy who unhelpfully says that he doesn't know if it's in stock and will have to check with the 'guys out the back' but they will ring me back within 24 hours. During this phone call I enthuse that it is for a gift for a birthday on Saturday so I was banking on them posting soon after my purchase was made. It is now Friday afternoon and I just find out that the store is closed today and I haven't even heard from them. I am absolutely livid. Do not shop here.

Terrible business. Brought a traxxas and refunded money with no contact regarding why. Would avoid online purchases

Products sold on eBay are not shipped! No response to refund request! There are fraudulent behaviors. You can't mention it yourself

It's a scam on eBay and never ships! There is no response at all on purpose when I apply for a refund. I ask questions and do not reply. It has been several days. I also deliberately discounted a lot to attract people to place an order

I have ordered my son's birthday present, 2 weeks later haven't heard Anything yet. This is the first time, of all the RC cars we bought taking the longest. We rang them and asked what is going on, the person we talked on the phone said we will receive an email later that day, Never came. We are STILL waiting for ANY response.

Great store with a huge selection of RC vehicles and models. Clean, tidy and Rodney was a great help with our queries and questions. We will definitely be back!

Be wary.the "Best Match Price" these guys offer is an absolute crock. I saw online that this place had an item I wanted, however at a more expensive price than another retailer (Shop A) who is further away from where I live than Crazy Hobbies. I contacted the store via their online form and asked whether they would price match and included a link to the other store's listing. I got a response from Oscar reading "Yes we can not a problem".

I subsequently found another cheaper price online (from Shop B) so when I went into the store I asked them to price match this. The guy claimed he couldn't because Shop B "is in South Africa" (I subsequently checked that and found it to be false) so, thinking I was in the wrong, I asked for the price from Shop A. The dude now said that because it was an "Online order" from Shop A, they couldn't match it as they could only match prices of items physically in stock. I subsequently offered to pay Shop A's price plus the shipping cost they were quoting and the guy said he could do that "cash only" and to get cash out from the pub across the road.

I left. In the end I've ordered it from Shop B, which is definitely not in South Africa, and it will be delivered shortly for a total price $50 cheaper than what Crazy Hobbies have it listed as.

In short, their "Price Match Guarantee" is a crock of the proverbial given the number of conditions which Crazy Hobbies placed on their offer AFTER I'd already checked they'd match the price. This ended up being a long drive across town under false pretences. Well done, you've lost my business.

Knowledgeable staff that gave good advice and items I needed were half the price of another RC hobby store that I enquired at.

Went in the other day for a spare part. The staff were really helpful and clearly know their stuff.

Today, i want to talk about the service i got from the shop. To be specific Rodney. Not only he assisted me technically, he didnt charge me an arm and a leg for the products he offered. Guys, find Rodney to get the best service when you visit Crazy Hobbies.

Just like to say the service I received was fantastic, I took my SCX10 11 Deadbolt in for new shocks to improve crawling ability and they did a great job, it has change it completely.very happy with it, I have more changes planed and I will be taking it back to Crazy Hobbies to see if they can help.

Bought a Tamiya rc and a few other bits in store after they not only price matched the product but then took more than a few dollars off again at the register; couldn’t ask for more, great service and best price, well done Crazy Hobbies I couldn’t be happier

Great service from the guys here at crazyhobbies, purchased a 1/5 Arrma Outcast, and found speed pinion missing, and broke a rod end on a gentle bash. They were helpful and mailed me the new parts to fix up the issues, and also ordered the speed pinion for me. Great after sale service and will purchase here again!
