Crabbes Creek General Store

As an Irishman in Australia for 11 years I have never come across a more welcoming store in this country. I literally go out of my way to feel like I am home for 10mins. The staff are simply flawless in not just customer service but in a genuine old school community way. They are always laughing, joking and having a chat with people they usually know by name. From a product perspective they have all sorts of items here, from quality frozen meals (yes vegan too), beans, dishing washing liquid, snacks, fresh fruit and veg and everything in between. Side note they have the best selection of craft and European beers anywhere in the local region while easily managing to stock the mainstream items. The opening of the Rail Trail will no doubt put this place firmly back on the map as it was in the old days, and they very much deserve that. Start or end your Rail Trail cycle here to really taste the region. P. S they even have fuel here too and parking around the area is amble!

You can buy just about anything here, from beans to beer. Original family run business dishing out humour and laughs and making you feel welcome. Good prices on most stuff. Plenty of local produce. Petrol & Diesel fuels.

Awesome family little general store.has a bit of everything. It’s very rare I can’t get what I need here & staff are always chatty.

This place us just awesome - a must visit and while your there stay for dinner. There is something cooking on most nights of the week.

Shane is the best because he fixed the Telstra mobile reception here. I can talk on my mobile from Ocean Shores to Crabbes Creek, walk around inside the store (still talking on my mobile) get back in the car & head up to Mbah & the call hangs in there. Shane! Shane! Shane! Hooah Hooah Hooah!

I love this place. I grew up at Crabbes and the shop has always been there. Shane and his crew are the friendliest bunch of legends you could want. He has a great selection of local produce and beverages. Definitely drop in for some local history and some great small town service

This is a general store with fuel and everything. Staff are friendly and great to deal with a must see place to visit and pick up some cheap alcohol.
