Cowra Bowling & Recreation Club reviews
39 Had lunch there and it was the best
seafood I have had
I would totally recommend there food
Once again a great venue Great bowling greens Great bowling members. Great staff on service Extremely friendly Good range in the resturant Reasonably prices meals. Great pick for pizza as well well worth a try. Overall highly recommend for a stop over for a game of bowls meal etc or just a quick beer.
Great place to escape, staff are wonderful, friendly and excellent service throughout the club.
We had a very nice dinner. Staff were very friendly.
Linda was driving the courtesy bus and is a great club representative
Only place open on a Tuesday after 7.30pm for dinner it seemed. For the crowd the food was catered towards (mainly the elderly), we totally got what we expected. No complaints! Good portions, standard pub/club food. Service was great at reception, bar and restaurant.
Had a great "long weekend" @ the club recently. Was well looked after by the i assume duty manager Bonneta and staff. Nothing was a problem, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all
Good prices for cold beer, some meals (especially steaks and chips) are sadly warmed up and not cooked to order, oily, luke warm limp chips, and tired looking meat.better places to go to in Cowra for a steak. Passable if desperate. Service is friendly.
Fav place for Pizza’s in Cowra and perfect for milkshakes during summers.
Recently tried a few cocktails there guess I found my go to place in Cowra
If your a traveller good place for a feed cold beer also lawn bowls hasn't been forgotten at this club all the bowling green were full
It was great coming back home to visit family and friends and being able to have lunch with my nephew and niece at the bowling club.
Yeah, it was OK
The salad with the fish was a little limp but the barramundi and chips were delicious.
Not a great selection of beer unless you like a certain brand.
A wonderful place to go and unwind, catch up with friends and have a quiet few. Beautifully renovated and the pizza there is to die for. The fact you can do takeaway pizza to is even better
There are many great stories about the '*new' Cowra Bowling Club. * Newly refurbished BUT my story starts in the BEST toilet ever! Best as in CLEAN & it even smells nice! Good JOB!
Went to bistro at cowra bowling club for dinner I had lamb cutlets lovely wife had pasta neopolitan very bland no flavour at all needed onion chilli tomato and capsicum to flavour
It gives what it promises, cheap food and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. The bistro is an undiscovered gem with the food being extremely good value for a steak costing $24. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in town.
So happy now that there is a new chef. The new chef has been there a few months now and the business has obviously gone up. The chef now puts on a variety of different dishes. The pizza at the Cafe has enough topping for 2 pizza's. The hot chocolate and cakes are great. Only thing they need is a 'Cake & Coffee' deal.
Was recommended to go here while we stayed in Cowra. Staff friendly, courtesy bus driver she was brilliant. Food was great they even do a smaller serve menu if you don't want a huge meal. It's still a great size. Drinks well priced. Overall great night out after a long work day and drive.
Food was terrible - all dry and tasted reheated more than once. The roast meal was bad (could not bite or cut through crackling) and pork was like eating rubber. Also, entree oysters had an odd taste (will be notifying NSW Health if we get sick).
The women bar staff were rude and arrogant. Their Manager was condescending when I questioned an unreasonable and undocumented policy towards children. However, the younger male staff were most happy to help and were polite. I would not recommend people who are not locals to visit.
We had much better food and service (and atmosphere) in Outback NSW and QLD
It's a nice club. Some of the staff go above and beyond. The guy that does the coffee is just fantastic. Also the vegetarian pizza is the best I have ever had.
