Cowra Aquatic Centre

Fantastic pool for the community. Open late most nights to accommodate anyone that works. There are lap lanes as well as free swim, a Cafe with heaps of food, clean showers, toilets and a kiddy pool.

One and only aquatic complex in Cowra. Excellent value for $5 adult entry. Staff and locals were friendly. Reasonably busy when I visited on a Friday morning with a.m squads in progress. Note to weekday visitors: a.m hours are 6-8 a.m only. Pool closes every morning 8-10 a.m.

It’s a shame this pool doesn’t have a indoor heated pool, for all round year fun and rehab for oldies.

Coucil needs to fix the roof and spend a little bit of ratepayers money on improving the pool. Stuff can only do so much and the stuff do a wondering job.

Fantastic public pool with beautiful surrounds - nice big trees, soft green grass, free barbecues, and a kiosk with very reasonably priced food and drink. Did I mention that the full-sized pool and the toddler's pool are pretty good, too?

Wonderful family atmosphere. Clean and inviting. Management is very professional and don't stand for any misbehaving. Great pool.

We took our daughter there on a hot day. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. I even had a long chat with one of the staff, Kerry, who ended up being the manager. Once again, very friendly but very 'switched-on'. We noticed they were very strict. We thought that that's what what we wanted. They take responsibility. It keeps the little ones safe. It also stops these kids hurting themselves and blaming others. Having said that, the kids complied and everyone had a great time. The water was absolutely beautiful. The temperature and chemical balance were perfect. Apart from the pool, they also have a basketball ring and bbq facilities. We're going back this afternoon and over the next few days.

It was just a quick stop for us on our road trip to freshen up but it was really nice. Big pool for laps swimming as well as small one for our little one and we could even rent rocker for boys to play. Enjoyed it, though there are pretty strict discipline policy rules on the walls we have not seen anywhere else yet: o) like no spitting, no swear words, long list, etc.

Cowra Aquatic Centre is great. It is open from 5.30am till 8am for lap swimming every day bar Sunday. Opens from 10am till 8pm daily, except Tuesday when it closes at 6pm for Cowra Stingray club nights.
