I went to CovaU, after my previous company kept increasing their rates, CovaU had the best rates that I could find. What surprised me the most however, was their customer service. Other companies give you long phone waits with poor quality recordings playing at high volume. I waited less than a minute and received friendly professional service from Mia P.

Fake 5 star reviews, tried to switch to them due to having a negative experience with a different retailer, welcome pack was not sent after a whole week, no correspondence, no update, customer service would say yes we'll follow this through and still nothing. I've had other retailers at least write an email or follow up text regarding changes and confirmations but none from this company whatsoever. I hope my account is cancelled as they said they have, otherwise will bring up to ombudsman if i get a random bill from them

Even though their rates are higher than those of other retailers, the CovaU customer service team is extremely efficient. I also appreciate Franco, who has been extremely helpful with my concerns!

The customer service is horrendous. We called 4-5 times talking to a non domestic branch promising to get an issue resolved. The issue has not been resolved but instead was blatantly lied to, put on hold for hours combined and never given the chance to talk to a supervisor or someone who can actually give me some answers.

Update: Matter was met at an agreement after I escalated it to another company in NSW that can escalate these cases to a higher degree, called EWON. Not even in 24 hours they made contact with us as they were pressed.

TLDR: Terrible experience

We were with Covau for 3 years and never had a problem. I would do a price comparison every year - especially when AGL or someone else would try and do a 'bundle' of gas and electricity and Covau would always be best - 25% discount after all is tallied up is the kicker and always makes them the most competitive. Daily charge was one of the best as well. Highly recommended.

Simply wanted to connect the gas. Everytime I called they can’t find anything under my name, no application recorded even thou I did one online and another on the phone. They offered to make a brand new application again after promising that the connection will be urgent within 48 hours. After 72 hours with still no gas connected to my unit I followed up and they are still saying nothing recorded under my name. Just went with a different provider as I couldn’t be bother going around circles
