Cottage Point Kiosk & Boat Hire reviews
64Awesome team. Very knowledgeable! Had a great day out with the family on one of their boats and caught a fish!
Fully booked so we only got takeaway coffee. Coffee was perfect and location is hard to beat. Want to come back to try the full menu.
Nice spot right by the water! Staff are very friendly here too, and it’s a great place to just sit and watch the world go by. Just beware that they don’t have any tap water here, so either bring your own or you’d have to buy bottled water.
Always a highlight of our weekends up the creek on the boat. Great coffee and great meals again a very reasonable price point considering the location. We love the free mooring out the front
This place was amazing! Cruised up in our boat and the staff were so helpful. The barramundi in curry was 10/10. So delicious!
Beautiful place to spend the day with good company, eat something and beautiful view to visit many times
Hired two boats with friends for a nice day of fishing both amazing boats the explorer and the picnic boat! The owner was very nice and explained everything for us and the cafe food was amazing and had bait available for fishing! The walk down from the parking was slightly steep but there was a hand rail if needed:) highly recommend having lunch here and hiring a boat here and having a good time out on the water!
Food and coffee was great and if you arrive by boat fantastic. If you arrive by road, good luck. The parking is on an extremely steep slope and roadside only. No carpark. Extremely steep uneven stairs. I will not return by road. If you have any mobility issues at all I'd say drive a bit further to the Akuna Bay Mariner. There is a Cafe there with fantastic access near the water. I have never been but it looks good from the carpark
Beautiful location, views and great coffee and food. The store also has some bait and grocery items for boat rides. You can also hire boats for a day out on the Hawkesbury River. Awesome place and great service.
5* food, location and service
Advise the Big Buoy breakfast and take a hire boat to Refuge Bay.
Today was a genuinely lovely day.
From the moment we arrived for our delicious breakfast, till when we handed back out hire boat.
The Staff are incredibly helpful, but even more so, genuinely friendly. You can tell that there is a good work culture at this place.
The boat we rented was on my tip top shape, and was very reasonably priced compared to similar crafts in the area.
Higher recommend.
My only note is that if someone in your party has mobility concerns, parking is a challenge. I am really fat, and have a bad back and I was ok, it’s just something to keep in mind.
Great spot, delicious food and coffee. Staff is friendly and professional. Well done to Dom. We also hired a boat, which was a nice touch to our trip. Dog friendly as well.
We will be back soon.
Was here for my birthday with a large group for a 1030 brunch. Had a most enjoyable meal. The staff did so much to accomodate us and make us feel welcome. @ Trent and Angela. All the dishes on the table looked and tasted amazing. I found the prices for wine were very resonable around 30 per bottle as opposed to the 60 a bottle or above in most places. I particularly liked the rose. Will be back again!
We hired a boat for four hours on Sunday. It was a simple process online to book and simple to fill in paper work and have introductory talk about boat prior to taking it out. Check in is where you pay for food which is abit of a hassle as you have to wait for everyone in line first and Sunday morning was busy. Otherwise pretty easy and we were very happy with our time out on the boat. Boat was clean and well maintained. Four hours was a good amount of time for fishing and swimming at the beach. No luck with the fish and plenty of huge jellyfish around however scenery is beautiful. We did not eat at the restaurant however food looked good. Almost essential to book a table as it is very popular. No parking on site which means parking on the side of the road on a very steep road. So be prepared for a climb walking back to your car.
We had a wonderful time renting a boat and having a birthday lunch at Cottage Point Boat Hire and Kiosk yesterday. It’s a stunning spot with delicious food and excellent service. A big thank you to the wonderful staff, you made my sons birthday!
Perfect Sunday morning trip. Great pancakes and scones. Pricey but understandable for the location.
Discovered this gem by accident during a Sunday drive
Great location on the water fab lunch menu
Must try the fish and salad and the brisket burger
Fresh Ingredients and generous with the portions
Great value for money given location
The service was first rate, teenage male
Only detraction - parking is a nightmare
Will be back
My 2 favourite dished are the Halloumi breakfast (which has a lot more than halloumi). Eggs Benedict are prertty great too. And for lunch, the yellow curry fish fantastic.
The boat hire is really lovely. Beautiful area to explore. I would recommend hiring a boat you can beach so you can park and swim. Staff were very nice.
Hired a Basic Dory boat (first time hiring a boat) and had a wonderful day exploring the Hawkesbury discovering secret little beaches. Staff were great with paperwork on arrival and the instructions when we got on the boat (note though my husband is a mechanic so that definitely helped). Next time would want to hire a boat with a bigger engine as was a little slow.
