Horrible company that sell fakes and do not refund customers when they get found out. Just a generic copy paste sentence that says that they have checked their supply chain and it’s real.

They have now had both my product and money for 3 months.

I will be moving forward with legal action as this company needs to stop.

Do not purchase any bags from this store. You cannot guarantee authenticity from Cossette. We asked for a refund as we got a bag authenticated by a third party who said the bag was fake. We then checked the bag and the serial number in the bag is different to the serial number on the certificate of authenticity given by Cossette. The Manager provided no solutions but to escalate the matter to NCAT and that the only way to prove authenticity is:
- Go to authorities
- Her words and explanation
- An email from customer service
- That by Cossette’s “doors being open”, they are selling authenticated products

I asked for my clarification as I wanted to resolve this matter in store but she “didn’t want to argue and she is the wrong person to speak to”.

When we first entered the store and before we could explain the situation, she lectured us for 5 minutes and when we tried to interject, she told us to listen as she was most likely and answer our question in her speech. She said if we “understood the law” and “listened to what she was saying”, we wouldn’t be in this situation in a demeaning way.

DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Had visited the store with my family today to get a refund issued, as I’m sure many are now aware that the bags have been deemed counterfeit, staff were very standoffish and unhelpful.

They gave no information about what will continue to happen from here, told us to contact fair trading and other companies to pursue legal action.

By the looks of things if people from as far back as 3 years ago are coming to say that they are counterfeit there is an issue, employees were trying to lie and say that it was all just slander and not true at all, which of course is false.

What has happened today and clearly many other days is unacceptable, these issues could have been solved if we were simply refunded.

I will be also making many family members and friends aware of this SCAM they are running, as well as a vast majority of my social media followers over multiple platforms.

We had also recorded our interaction with the entire store, as well as someone who we could only assume was the owner of this specific establishment (this was done over the phone).
Of course staff were not very happy with this but people deserve to be made aware of the absolute wrought of a store.

It is very convenient that your Instagram comments have also been turned off as well as the phone line disconnected.

It is also worth note that cosette is affiliated with another group/company I cannot remember the name of at the current moment who were closed down 10 years ago for the same thing they are doing to this current day.

Purchased a Prada bag March 2022 and returned my item in-store August 2023. I proved that I had my bag authenticated and it was counterfeit, was given a receipt and told me they will reauthenticate my bag and be in touch.

I went to Fair Trading NSW to receive my refund since I haven’t received any response from their customer service team.

I’m planning to go back to the store to get my refund - it’s now been 3 months since I returned my bag. Absolutely unacceptable.

As like so many of the ladies that have written reviews I also had my bag authenticated after hearing all the news and found out it was a fake.
I personally took my bag back to the store 9 weeks ago and I still don’t have a refund.
I’ve also not had any response in a week and the phone number I was given is never answered, I’ve called it hundreds of times!
If anyone has any advice I’d love some help?

Update- 11 weeks and still no refund.
And for over a week now they have completely stopped responding to me.

I don’t know how this shop is still open with all the lodgements to NSW Fair Trading. I purchased a YSL Lou Camera bag in September 2022. I heard about the fake bags so I had mine authenticated in August. It came back as counterfeit. I went to the shop to ask for a refund and was told that they needed to send it away for authentication and I would receive an update within 10 days. It’s been three months and nothing but 1 or 2 emails to my many emails asking for an update. I will be filing a police report for Fraud/obtain benefit by deception as I have not received a response. Unless you want an expensive fake purse DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

DO NOT BUY. They absolutely sell fakes mixed in with authentic bags. Purchased a bag that was without a doubt a counterfeit product, it’s extremely obvious just from the photos that I took on my phone. They also flag any negative reviews on Trust Pilot that accuse them of selling fakes, so that others cannot see those reviews. Don’t ignore the 1 star reviews.

I bought a YSL bag, 6 months ago and it is already falling apart. I hardly used it. It is fake. I have emailed but hardly anyone responds to it. Waste of my money.

Good price, Quick delivery, but not enough brands available and it need some clothing, the package and rapping of items are great and very delicate.

Best price found for the item I wanted so I thought I'd give it a go. My experience could not have been any better. Delivery was extremely quick, lots of relevant communications. Item was delivered in lovely Cosette packaging inside a discreet brown box. Perfect.
I would certainly purchase from Cosette again. The only downside I would have to say is that I want to see greater collection.

This was my first time shopping at Cosette. I'm very pleased with the service. One thing that I didn't like was that my order was processed after 2 days but I received an apology e-mail stating that there are too many orders during this sales period so my order might be a little late. Not long after that I received an e-mail notification that my item is packed and later in the day that is has been shipped. Item was beautifully packed, the qualify of the product is amazing. Even though I got concerned about my order for that short period, I still enjoyed the service very much. I'm definitely going to buy again!
