Cork & Chroma Surry Hills

I had my hens party there. Whilst we had a good time (because the guests were all having a good time) i was disappointed in a few things. The instructor didn't really do anything. No instructions, no tips on painting, just sat and did his own painting.
The most disappointing thing though was that we booked for a sexologist to make it more fun. This sexologist cost $600 extra for the session and was meant to be informative on the body, sex etc. To make my hens more fun. She didn't even attend! And didn't let anyone know. Instead a fill in attended who did nothing other than show the party a few toys and then she proceeded to do her own painting with no interactions with our guests. Paying 600 for a special guest i expected much more and what was described in the package was not provided. We've sought an explaination 2 weeks ago which hasn't been provided. I certainly won't go back here.

Had a wonderful painting experience tonight at Cork & Chroma. Maz was fantastic teacher- very patient & knowledgeable. A fun evening

What an amazing experience! They were super helpful, played brilliant music and overall we had one of the best date nights we've ever planned. It helped us unwind, relax, and just enjoy ourselves. Attracts a really good crowd as well - so made friends along the way. HIGHLY recommend.

Was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday! Went for a birthday and we both had a fantastic time. Laughed a lot. Great playlist too

Leo was very personable. He let us settle in and was very chipper! I love his playlist too, they were a mix of nostalgic and the present. He gave us simple instructions (although he could be more detailed) but he was very calm and patient. Overall, we enjoyed our time here! We will definitely be coming back!

Had an absolutely amazing time this weekend! Thankyou guys so so much can't wait to come along again for another paint and sip!

Fun time had by all in our group. Teacher made the class enjoyable and we all took a finished painting home.

The presenter did not teach any new skills and the sample painting looked to be completed by a 3 year old. More interested in playing music requests.

Great night out and the first time in a while I can say "that was worth the money". We had a great instructor who made art fun and approachable (even for a guy who failed high school art) and if you don't screw up too badly, you can leave with something fun to hang on the wall:)

A lovely quiet night out. BYO studio that provides wine glasses and free tea. Instructor was lovely and patient, price a bit steep at ~$70 pp

Great fun night out! The instructor's demos and explanations were easy to follow and my "Dirty Martini" is now decorating the wall next to my bar cabinet.
Highly recommended!

Cork and Chroma was a fun night out with my friends. The instructions from The “teacher” were easy and simple to follow and she was patient, kind and informative. Most of the people painting on the night had never painted before and their finished canvases looked amazing.

Went there with my partner for a sip and paint session and enjoyed every moment, it was quite fun and we drew some Bondi themed stuff

Recently had a session with Emily & she was absolutely wonderful! Will definitely be recommending Cork & Chroma Surry Hills to friends.

Came here at the beginning of July with my Partner and we both had a really fun time. It’s always really warming when your other half actually had a great time when he first doubting his creative abilities. We painted The Starry Night by Van Gogh. I think we had Mary? As our Artist that night. She explained everything very well to ensure everyone had a great time. Would recommend this activity as a pair or in a group!

Great little spot for a social/ team event!
The I instructor was great and lead us through our chosen piece. She was super friendly, gave clear instructions, but also kept it relaxed.
They also had a fridge and basic items such as wine glasses that you can use.
Everyone's painting came out better than they expected!

Celebrated my anniversary with my boyfriend here! It was such an amazing experience! The lady was incredible at her job, all COVID regulations were upheld throughout the whole lesson, and it was fun! I’ve never done a sip and paint before and now I need to come back.

Love that I can keep my painting straight after the night, and have it as a memory.
