Coral Homes - Emerald Hills, Homeworld South Display Village

I wanted to write a review about my experience with the Leppington consultants for Coral homes. I had a list of questions around building vs buying an established home. The consultant was able to sit down with me, answer all my questions and explain the building codes and implications if we were to build. I found him very knowledgeable, very friendly and patient with my queries. My husband and I are now in a much better position to make an informed decision on our purchase. Thank you Coral homes

We drove out to Leppington 3 weeks ago, met the consultant & went over our plans. No email, No phone call, No reply, No follow up. We then called their head office in QLD after trying to get a reply from their sydney agents - and now nothing from the HO either. It seems like it’s 2 guys in an office dealing with walk ins who are basically disorganised. We have called and emailed numerous times and still no reply. Unprofessional shambles.

Display homes look great but the sales team are terrible. Quote prices change every time you have a conversation with them. They tell you everything you want to hear but as soon as you sign that HIA contract, its weeks before a reply to a simple email.they forget to mention all the disappointing stuff like area surcharges, overblown site costs, and the time it takes to do anything. Everything goes through Head office in QLD so it's ridiculously slow. If you're okay with paying whatever gets thrown at you with a minimum 9month process just for a start date on the build! Then these guys are for you

The Sales consultant Roni was amazing with us no complaints from me, however once we were handed over to the pre-site customer service team well that’s where the nightmare begun. In a matter of three months we changed three pre-site consultants and every time we changed we had to explain everything that has happened and changed as we’ll be charged for things they forgot to read in handover. The construction of our home went smoothly with only a few hiccups. We only moved into our new home in June 2021 and now have started to notice how badly things were built. All our main windows are full of marks and scratches from the outside that we now had to go and spend more money to put curtains up so it can’t be seen from inside. The ensuite tiles have all these black dots on them which can’t be removed and all Coral Homes suggested was use gumption

Currently dealing with Coral Homes Emerald Hills to construct my first home. After paying a deposit to proceed with tender, multiple issues have arose. I am now dealing with a third sales consultant as the other two no longer work for Coral Homes. Each time I change consultants, we have to start the whole process again. They have constantly lied to me indicating my land is a BAL40 Fire Rating which in turns costs thousands more to construct. After engaging a Fire Consultant it is indicated it is a BAL12.5 which is the lowest fire rating. We are now in the final stages of receiving the drawings although have not provided a date of when this will be after three weeks of asking. Strongly considering changing builders if this keeps up.
