When his attendance is required to fix the issues which he himself has/had created, he is very quick to disregard instead of taking accountability and providing what is needed.

As both an accountant and now a broker, it is essential he gains basic training skills in both fields before he's equipped to manage trusting clients, until then you'll be faced with an inefficient broker and accountant. Avoid at all costs.

Basil is extremely inexperienced in the field of basic accounting. He has provided incorrect tax advice which in turn has cost us over $10k to resolve by enlisting other accountants & has caused us issues with the ATO resulting in 100’s of thousands to owe. Basil struggles with communication. In response to a detailed email requesting information we required from him to resolve the colossal mess he created with our taxes, and where I clearly stated the observable facts where he’s irresponsibly directed us incorrectly, Basil’s only response to this was ‘rubbish’. He’s incompetent, unprofessional, requires further training in basic accounting as well as customer service. Save yourself, your business and or Company from Basil Prasad processing your tax, tax advice or any engagement to do with Taxation as it will be a costly consequence in the long term.

Worst experience I have ever had. Extremely poor customer service. When I first contacted Basil he told me specifically that the cost for tax return is $120. After doing the tax return he said its $150 + his time (another $80). He mentioned he spent more than one hour on my case when he only spent 15 mins on the whole thing. When I suggested to him that I want to claim the 80 cents per hour worked from home, he completely dismissed the suggestion (told me if I knew better than him) whichpretty much mean to shut up. He proceeded with whatever made it more suitable and told me that if I want I can do it myself. No care for the customer AT ALL. I said ill do it myself then he asked me then what about the time he spent on it and I should pay for it.

Atleast the only positive thing is that at the end he did not charge me which I really thought I would be charged for nothing.

I usually never give reviews even if I have a bad experience. But please be warned of him.

LASTLY AVOID AT ALL COST

I have known Comptax Accounting for some 30 years. Basil is very good at what he does. The reason why I have always had good result from work they have done for me is because they understand me and my business therefore they can deliver the results they do. The fees I pay are reasonable and a tax deduction but the results I get is value far greater than what can be achieved else where.
