7 After about 2 months no body call me for
any shifts! Is it posible? ! Waste of time.
I loved every experience working here. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
I’m coming back to write this review almost two years after having worked here since I was taken aback by the level of unprofessionalism of the upper management, and thought it would be worth mentioning. I worked as an educator here helping out at various schools during after-school hours around Sydney for a couple months while I was a university student.
During my time there, I had no set shifts. I would get a call from my manager out of nowhere on any given day, asking me straight-up if I’d be able to work that day. 9/10 times it would be them calling me on the day of the job asking me to work, with no prior notification whatsoever indicating that they would be needing an extra hand in the days to come. They also never paid for my transportation getting to and back from the various schools they sent me to, sometimes which were over an hour away from where I lived (I lived in Sydney’s CBD) - all for a two hour shift. I don’t know if it’s common to not pay for employees’ transportation in Australia, but this was something that shocked me. I was also hardly given any job details when I did take up a shift - only told about the name of the school, it’s location, and my set working hours. Sometimes, the staff at the school I was sent to didn’t even know who I was and it seemed as if they weren’t even expecting me. This proved to me just how bad the management was, including their organization and communication skills. Although this may not be the worst place to work at, it was still awfully inconvenient not knowing when I’d get the call asking if I could work. I hope they’ve improved their management by now. If not, I do not recommend this place.
They will underpay you guaranteed. Stay away. COMPLETE RIP-OFF BE WARNED
They told me to take care of the paperwork I still needed from them. Nothing happened, very disappointed to get lied directly in my face. They play the friendly way, but they don't care about you.
The questions at my job interview seemed very unprofessional to me. "what do you do as an educater, when child A steals a toy from child B? " (There is no right answer in my opinion, you need to read the signs, and see what happened in this situation).
So please don't ask those silly questions with no background history.
Friendly.helpful recruiters. Always found me work. Both ad hoc and on going.
