Community Arts Centre Port Stephens

Visited the Gallery and Cafe with friends on a Saturday. What a Gem of a place this is, the Gallery is fabulous with lots of paintings, pottery, knitting etc etc for sale at very reasonable prices, and all made by members.

We then had lunch at the Cafe, lovely and quite, surrounded by garden. Great coffee and food.
Well worth a visit.

I took the kids and we enjoyed our time looking through the gallery, wandering through the garden and having something to eat at the Cafe. What a wonderful relaxing place. We came home with some art as well.

This is must visit for those interested in the arts and craft. It is an exceptional gallery filled with things made by the members. The small Cafe offers tea and coffee and hand made delights. A pity the Cafe is only open on Saturdays.

Went to look at a bonsai display and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the gardens and staff members where. Lots of nice art for sale including paintings, mosaics, pottery and various hand made craft items.
A outdoor covered area to sit and enjoy a tea or coffee, sandwiches, scones with jam & cream and other home made food all with a great view of the gardens. A small fairy garden will delight the young children.

Well worth stopping in. I go to this lovley community shop everytime I visit the area and walk away with more than I need. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen.

Great supporters of the local artists all in the setting of the old maternity hospital. Very well run and set out. They run regular exhibitions of quite varied pieces, so you never boring.

Such a friendly atmosphere in an environment where the gifted and talented of the community show the fruits of their labours at very reasonable prices.

Picked up some nice locally made glazed plates here for a reasonable price. Wife was happy, so that means I was too! If you're into craft, check it out. There's a nice little garden attached too. This kept the kids half interested for 10mins.
