Last week a situation arose where I needed some banking advice. Peter the Branch Manager was between appointments, fortunately for me I was able to see him personally without having to drag myself back later.
It’s so very pleasant having a familiar face to help, plus being able to go into a branch and not deal online, with answers I can’t find!
Peter has been the branch manager at Mosman for years, I never realised how wonderful a feeling, to deal and communicate with a real person, and one who is extremely personable and has a wealth of knowledge in banking

This review is not only for the bank itself, but also for an employee of the bank. We really enjoyed the modern look and design of this bank branch, and all of the employe were really friendly and patient with us. My girlfriend and I arrived in Sydney at the end of October. We were totally overwhelmed by all the new impressions and things, we had to organize. After we got some false advice in another bank branch in Lane Cove, we came here to Mossman to seek advice from someone else. Luckily Ms Sharma was in the bank at that day. She tried everything she could possibly do to solve our problem, took several phone calls with different companies to figure out a solution and didn't stop 'till the problem was solved. We are very thankful for the help she offered us, and hope her good work will be appreciated by the bank!
I needed to take care of family business on behalf of my parents and as such needed to come in to the Mosman branch with them. Peter, the branch manager immediately came over to us and escorted us into a separate room.
Das then looked after us beautifully with a lovely manner, great product knowledge and a lot of patience (there was a lot of paperwork to get through).
I thoroughly recommend Das, Peter and the Mosman team to anyone interested in good old-fashioned face to face service for their banking needs.

I made a fairly large amount of transfer from CBA Mosman Branch to another local bank account more than a week ago. The money however has never arrived. I have been calling CBA and visiting the Branch to trace the money. They insisted that the money has been received by the other side. However, the other bank confirmed the fund has never arrived. It looks like someone in CBA is hiding something. I have made a formal complaint to AFCA. My money just dissapeared in the bank. The worest bank ever!
Came 3 times to get a bank guarantee and every time a staff (not caring staff) asking me to bring different documents although I had all the documents with me!
They don’t respect people’s time!
The worst Commonwealth Bank branch ever. Staffs are not interested in helping you and avoid transactions. Ignorant, incompetent and rude. They don't deserve to be in the high street of Mosman.
I bank here because my business has an account with this branch. I can not fault this bank, I usually wouldn’t bother to write a review for a bank but the tellers and staff here are SO friendly, professional and courteous that I decided to write this as a thanks to making my Wednesday banking experience so pleasant. Every staff member I’ve encountered here have been nothing but genuine, helpful and delightful towards myself and other customers. I’d highly recommend this team and are doing the community proud.
I have been a commonwealth customer since 2005, with 4 home loans equating to nearly 2 million dollars. It pains me to think that my bank of choice is the largest finder of fossil fuel. If you cared about my children's future, you would stop funding dirty coal. I thought CBA was a progressive bank? Why aren't you funding sustainable energy and environmentally responsible companies that look to protecting our future. You have an obligation to your customers and our country to protect it - not to fund the destruction of it.
I have been a customer and banking with Commbank at Mosman for 15 years and I strongly oppose CB investing in fossil fuels ($3.9Billion in fossil fuels in 2016 - the biggest funder in Australia). Overall I have been happy with CB costumer service in Mosman but this issue will make seek a different bank. This is more than an economic or political issue, it is about the future of the planet and our children. Fund alternative energies and stop funding pollution. Shareholders are not rotten selfish individuals, they also do also care about their children and the planet.
