They couldn’t help us for the home loan and gave us wrong details and information. It was very disappointing! I would not recommend this branch for home loans to anyone.

I took time off work to go into the branch to express my concerns that my debit Mastercard was expiring in two weeks and I hadn’t received my replacement card. The teller there laughed off my concerns and told me to return in a month and that I had nothing to worry about and could continue to use my card a month past it’s expiry. I found myself stuck at the end of a long day at the Build Expo tonight with hundreds of cars trying to exit the car park and I’m holding them up because my card had expired and I wasn’t able to pay cash. I was utterly furious and humiliated! Thankfully my boss was still at the expo and could come to my rescue with his credit card. I then spent 1.5 hours on hold with the Comm Bank help line and was told that the teller could have picked up that my card was actually sent out to me two months prior and must have been lost in the mail. She could have ordered me a new one before the current one expired! I would go back in that branch and scream at her if it didn’t mean me having to take time off work to do so! I want her head on a wooden stake for dismissing me and making light of my concerns! I am definitely shopping around to leave you Comm Bank! I have been with you for 16 years but I think it’s time for a change.

This is not my branch of choice. I have steered clear of this branch as the customer service is appalling and has been from previous years. I came here today because I was in Lane Cove only to find that the service is still the same. There is none. The lady I spoke to was so rude and certainly didn’t try to win me over as a customer. In the end I was helped by a lady who was 2 I C. She was very helpful and apologized that I had to wait so long.

Helped me form a new Term Deposit after a period where everything I tried to do on-line Term Deposit application and it resulted in a death spiral of repeat questions. I found myself in an online loop that was never ending. I had tried the online help and phone help to get them to understand that the online application process was fraught with problems but they did not seem to care to know.

They don't have enough staff for clients seriously if not then why open the branch just for nothing. Very disappointed.

Hire enough staff so that you can serve your clients! I was told it would take 2hrs to be served for a simple transaction!

Appalling service have attempted twice to come in to set up a trust account pre booked an appointment left early for work only to be told by Hahn the manager he was going to lunch he was the one who made my partner book the appointment the day before body language and total manner were terrible we will be taking business else where totally poor service and incompetent manager.
Worst Comm bank I’ve been to and defiantly the poorest service by Hahn today take your business else where

Best thing:
I got a less than ideal experience on my mortgage application with other bank to a point where it really stresses me out.
I called CBA, met with Raymond Su (lending manager) and he offered an exemplary customer service that actually solved my issue in less than 2 hours.
That alone warrant a 5 stars review, and to top it off, the rates are actually competitive to that other bank.

Good thing:
nearest atm for cardless cash
my local CBA branch

Bad thing:
1 bad experience that I won't forget.
Back in January 2015, went there 5 minutes to 4: 00PM to exchange foreign currency and they turn me over saying it's close time (no it's not, it's not 4: 00PM yet!)
Anyway, couldn't care less to argue and went to St. George across the street, it's past their closing time and I'm not even their customer but they were gladly serve me!

Since then I prefer going to CBA in North Sydney (near office) or Chatswood (in weekend).
