Coles Express

Been here for over one hour trying to get a car wash machine keeps breaking down and has to be reset. Will never use Coles Waterloo again for anything. Complete rubbish when I rang to find out what is happening just got hung up on.
Never never never again!

WARNING CARWASH TAKES MONEY AND DOES NOT WASH CAR Machine accepted code, drove in as instructed, got stop signal - nothing - sat wanted, nothing. Saw attendant, who suggested I try again, had to wait for car before me to finish, typed in code, not accpeted. Then had to wait while the attendant served other customers, before getting a refund to card. All-in-all wasted 3/4 hour and did not get my car washed - not happy

I came once and felt unwelcome here, the staff seems not willing to work there, the station is dirty, the vacuum most of the time not working, either is full, or just make a noisy but didn't do the job. The car wash is expensive and didn't wash the car. This station just does not care about customers. Thanked God, there is Bp station just around the corner on Cleveland St. Avoid this place

Whoopie! Just another Shell Express petrol station. You can buy drinks, sandwiches, smokes, etc.

If you need petrol or a packet of ciggies, who cares about the business rating.

Every Shell Coles Express I've been to only charge 1 dollar atm fee, how come yours is 2.85?
I wouldn't complain if the service and store were up to scratch.

This one is just for the people who need candy at 2AM. Actually a huge assortment for a service station. Friendly staff.

FYI, The Hungry Jacks with the big “open 24 hours” sign is not open 24 hours. No onion rings for you at 2AM on a Tuesday sorry.

When I went to pay at cash register, That guy was busy talking on phone, I slowly told him I need a bag he scanned the bag and left on the counter

He DIN’T even bother to put the stuff in the bag.

I got so angry I couldn’t say anything I took the my stuff and left the bag their only for which I paid.

He was so busy on phone to put the customers stuff in bag.

I used to like coming here for the carwash but in the last few months the machine doesn’t always work, when the machine does work the purchased code doesn’t always work. I had to leave my car in front of the machine and rush into the shop to get a new code. The person behind the counter always assumed the worst in customers, not trusting the code never been used, not being helpful and worsening the whole experience being there. Well, fix your machine and code reader so you don’t keep losing customers.

Don’t come here. They have rude staffs there sometimes. The best way to force businesses to improve is to stop using them until they fire those bad staffs.

Great place for your needs in the middle of the night and you need snacks for a all night movie marathon.

One young staff there was very rude. He kept upselling products we didn’t want (like we don’t eat chocolates) and got offended when we said no.

Afterwards, he deliberately not crediting me the 4c discount voucher for his ego boost.

There are many other cheaper and friendlier stations around. Go elsewhere.

Decided to try the coles express car wash. Had 4 cars in front of me and it literally took 1 hour wait. Dont recommend coming here if you are in a rush.

It's not as good as the Aldi's near it. But just wanted to shout out an employee named Josh who helped me find Kimchi, great service

The worst customer service ever. The staff was so rude, he was staring at me, didnt say hello even when i was checking out he didn’t say a word

I bought 2 caewash. It was out of order when I came and came again still out of order.
Passed 60days and wasted my 2nd car wash.
I complained 60 days should be working days but staff said it was working last 3months.

Purchased 2 car wash for $30. Went back for my second car wash but service was out of order, twice. What a waste of time driving there. Went back for a 3rd time, waited 30 minutes in the queue and ticket was 'not valid'. Had to go in and get another ticket. Total waste of time, hassle and unnecessary stress for $15. Will wash my car at home from now on. Sad.

Frequent this servo many times in a week for car wash and a snack from HJ. Car wash ticket was returning 'invalid code error' which means I used it already or it was an error on their end. I was certain I used it already but I thought the guy behind the counter would never believe me. One employee in particular has always been pleasant - he's an older man whose always jovial and willing to help. He replaced my ticket instantly and was happy to do so. This employee is the is the epitome of good customer service. I encountered him many times before this too and every single time a happy camper.

Car wheel was damaged in their Car Wash.despite their no damage guarantee. Here is Coles reply pictured. Basically, if your car is damaged, they’ll deny everything so do not rely on the guarantee at all. They’ve lost a good customer after the mishandling of this matter.

Was late admittedly just before closing time but overall it did seem a bit scruffy. Poor produce section.

This Coles express has a Hungry Jacks inside and a public accessible toilet / washroom too. Not many petrol stations in the city quite as convenient and reliable as this. Open all hours.
