Col Jones Learn To Swim

What a wonderful swim school! The staff are so kind and friendly. The swim teacher is always providing my daughter with feedback (including all other children) at the end of each lesson so they know what they need to work on to move to the next level. Col Jones also provides opportunities to practice racing with their organised race nights. The best swim school we have attended by far!

Amazing swim school. So professional and the service is above and beyond. The staff are so friendly they remember you by name. The communication is so quick and so accommodating. I wouldn’t consider any other place. Three kids have gone through the program and it’s just gotten better and better. The online app makes things so easy. So highly recommended from me.

Our daughter been in squads at Col Jones for a number of years and has loved it. Great coaches and a nice atmosphere. She really enjoys it.

The kids program at Col Jones is absolutely fantastic and encourages confidence and water safety. My children are challenged and always look forward to their swimming lessons. The bonus is that I can book both kids, of differing age and skill levels, in at the same time.

After trying several swim schools in the innerwest over the past 6 years Col Jones has to be one of the best we have found. From the girls at the front desk, supervisors to the swimming instructors, my daughters swimming confidence and progress has been consistent since swimming here.
The instructors show genuine interest in the kids, identify their swimming form deficiencies and have them improving in no time. I have recommended to friends who now also attend Col Jones.

You need to be commended on the way the program and school is now running. We loved the intensive program from the instructors, to the supervisor observation of children (when competent to move levels), front desk and management. The portal is easy to use too. Well done!

Col Jones, Tempe is a thoroughly professional learn to swim centre. The swim instructors are friendly, encouraging and skilled at getting the best from the students. There are supervisors keeping an eye on all three pools and they are always prepared to chat with parents/caregivers. The reception staff are friendly and quick to respond to any queries. The pools are a hive of activity starting from beginners to squad training and the kids see and understand the progression they will make.

I can’t stop recommending this place, since I have started, all my kid’s friends are also joined. Very professional instructors and if I miss a class, no worries there is always make up plans.

Both my kids are learning to swim with Col Jones at Tempe. I have been so impressed with the quality and consistency of the instructors.
The clear development system means that they are regularly recognized and rewarded for their progress which they love and inspires them to try even harder. Plus the pool is so clean and the water is warm so they’re always happy to attend even on the cold rainy days.

Still the best swim centre in the inner west. I went here 30 years ago and now my kids have started here. The instructors are friendly and very encouraging. I love the skills-based reward system and my kids love their sticker chart! It is heated as well so perfect for those cold days. Another brownie point, it has historical value! My kids loves the idea of "swimming in a cave".

Wonderful learn to swim facility, all my children have learnt here from the baby pool right up to Squad.

All of the instructors are so kind and patient and my children can’t wait to go every week.

The level system is great and the kids look forward to moving up a level and getting their sticker to add to their chart.

We feel really lucky to have this on our doorstep! We’ve tried a few others in the past and this is the best due to lesson sizes, only a few kids in each lesson and no public in the pool making it feel busy. Nice and quiet - just perfect.

We have been going to Col Jones for over 3 years now after initially trying a different swim school for my toddler where we had no progress. The program and structure at Col Jones work very well for children of all ages. The progress chart is great to encourage children and the entire staff is very friendly, accommodating and professional. I highly recommend this swim school.

Lovely Caring Clear instruction and supportive teachers. I have two of my girls at CJ Tempe, both loving their lessons. I was quite worry in the beginning of starting swimming lesson for my 4yo as she is in the Autism Spectrum but the teachers really get her and she loves them and after a few months now she has improved a lot more that what I expected.

Recently moved my kids into Col Jones lessons and couldn't be happier. The lessons are far more hands on than the previous pool we frequented, the teachers more engaging and the general focus of the centre more focussed on developing and progressing technique. Even when we had some initial teething problems with the kids and the class level they began in, the staff were polite, understanding and willing to take our feedback on board.

Very good swimming school my son loves it. Within few lessons you can see improvements in the kid's swimming. The instructors and supervisors are very professional and helpful. Specially Andrea (she is very good). Keep up the good work guys

The instructors at this swim school take the time to assess kids individually. By far the best learn to swim school in the area.

We've tried a couple of other swimming programs in the area and I'd say that Col Jones has been the best, for both my children. They always look forward to their lessons. The sticker chart has also been great motivation for them. From the staff behind the front desk to the teachers in the pool, the team at Tempe have always been lovely and professional.
