What a disappointment. We were a group of 8 seniors wanting to attend the Coffs Harbour Cup meeting. Emailed a few weeks prior asking about transportation, seating & purchasing entry tickets at the gate and no response so I phoned a week later & left a message asking the same questions. No response. So we paid $450 for a Maxi Taxi from Nambucca to the course only to be told we needed online tickets. After 20 minutes trying to buy tickets online and finally getting entry most tables were taken. Then both food & beverage lines were ridiculously long due to them being understaffed and training staff which meant 15min plus in a line. First & last time we will attend a meeting at Coffs Harbour. Looking forward to Tuncurry races this Friday as they are far more organised than CH. I just hope they read this review and get their act together.

Amazing drinks and entertainment venue for a private function we attended, highly recommend booking this place for all things party orientated.

Just had a huge trifecta and the favorite didn't leave the gate so they gave me a refund.long story short they didn't want to payout so they decide the race was a non starter. TOTALLY SCREWED ME OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

Out of control? Really your stewards made a bad call. Period.

Dogj camera angles cost us a winner in the first. Other than that was perfect, especially the covers on the seats. Definitely would return ️

I have never been to a race meeting in my 56 years of going that has ever been do disorganised and not catering for the general public.on getting there we were told we had to go to a paddock back on the way we came.we went to the area twice as there was no signs or directors.we had to drive over an embankment tiget to the paddock.we dropped the women off at the main entrance so they different have to go thru the paddock.on getting back we were informed a later time of gates opening, then to find out you had to get tickets on line, which were sold out.werent going to let us in, the excuse was it's been like that since covid.i haven been to any other places like that.finally someone saw scenes and let us in.one poor old couple had already gone home.there was no tables for the public on the lawn, very limited upstairs.the good was too dear and lousy to go with it.
They need to better for the public and not just for the members and the ones that can afford to go in the paying areas.
I thought scone was bad at cup time but this place takes the cake for me in many years.

Only used a training room at the race course.unfortunately with all the recent wet weather, the grounds were very muddy

Great for a race-day and functions as well. I hear they are doing many wedding receptions here these days. It's so spacious! The race club CEO Tim Saladine is a great operator - very professional!

Needs a railing along the ramps and steps in the GA seating area. The ladies in heels were quite apprehensive about walking down.

I had a good day at the Coffs Harbour Cup meeting. Nice track, good racing and senior jockeys. What I don't understand and I hope the committee take notice is why a 76 year old, self funded retiree, with a Seniors card and Commonwealth Health card does not qualify for concession rate entry fee. I don't have a pension card because I've worked 60 odd hours a week until I was 70+ years old. In fact I still work part time. I've paid my taxes and put in for this country.
Maybe it's time for the committee to come into come into the 21st Century?
Here's hoping!
Take it easy.

They need to let the public know when the races are coming up in advance so more people can attend not just the day before! We went to the Melbourne cup luncheon the food was amazing but the racing venue was terrible we missed the fashions of the field didn't know they where on, no entertainment, was not worth 129 each

The Coffs Harbour Racing Club is a very well run business. Each year they hold and run the Gold Cup Carnival, and successfully manage tens of thousands of revellers. Their function business is well run and the facilities on offer are top notch.
