Coffs Harbour Aquatic Centre reviews
9If anyone would like to learn swimming, highly recommend to come for swimming at Aquatic, the trainer's very friendly and helpful
My kids learned to swim here and now theirs are learning here. There is a swim club, group classes or hire a lane and do your own thing.
The big positive is that the pool is well heated. This is really important for winter swimming. Change facilities are good & fair variety of food at the kiosk. Good for lessons or special classes but if you want a casual swim sometimes it can be restrictive for space. Not much parking space
I'm may look much but the coaching staff are terrific. Our daughter loves he swimming and is getting faster by the week!
MY SECOND HOME - After doing a multiple surf rescue and suffering physical and emotional trauma I spent every day in Coffs Harbour Aquatic Centre for over 1 year, first with hydro therapy, wading with kickboards 2 hours every day, then more than 10,000 laps over 12 months. The staff and regulars are very supportive and it felt like a second home to me. I trained hard, healed and became a volunteer surf lifesaver, again with the wholehearted support of this pool. I sometimes return to do month long fundraisers at this very friendly, smaller, more personable indoor heated pool. There is aditional parking available next door when busy. Timetable and Info available on website. 5 STARS from me.
They wrote outside that learn to swim but doesn’t want to teach if someone don’t know swimming. My kids went there to learn but the young boy who was coach was very rude and my kids were trying hard learn and was giving their best but the coach was making rude face expressions. I saw and get very upset. He doesn’t want to teach them so that’s why I decided it’s not good place to learn swimming for my kids
Danny and the team are fantastic. My 2 preschool boys are in a class of just 3 so they get plenty of one on one instruction. In just a few lessons they have progressed so much. Swimming lessons is the highlight of their week and Danny is just so good with the kids. I couldn't recommend the Coffs Harbour Aquatic Centre more.
Hey all, yes the pool is heated. How lucky are we all to have a great centre. As a long term user I have no problems. Fun, fast and convenient.
My wife learned to swim with Danny at Coffs Harbour Aquatic Centre and went on to compete at a high level. Fast forward 25 years and Danny has also taught both our two children how to swim. All the staff and coaches are so friendly and really supportive of all the children. We could not be happier. Our boys are currently coached by Colin and he is such a fantastic coach and mentor.
