Friendly staff and nice facilities. Great option to spend time with kids and do some exercise as well. My kid loved it too. Highly recommended.

It’s a really fun place to go in the school holidays. The staff are really friendly and teach you about it before you start. There are lots of different levels so there is always something for you.

Great climbs if you like rope. I prefer bouldering which they have but they seem to be aimed for more intermediate climbers

Not a reflection of this specific venue of the three, but it really should be on the front page of the website that they're hosting an event where you have to pay at least $50 each for a headlamp. They're lucky that the next venue was less than 15 minutes drive away. Otherwise, had a great time as expected at their St Leonards venue.

Friendly and approachable indoor climbing place. There is a nice area for kids with many options, I would say from 5 year and more they can come and try many things. The adult area has 4 automatic belay, I wish there was a way to meet other people who came alone. There is a boulder area that is nice and challenging.

Nice facility’s but when we went to buy a drink no one was at the drink counter and no staff even looked at us why have two sides on the bar and no staff

This was such a great place to take my 5 year old nephew. The rules were explained and care given to make sure the techniques were understood. He loved it so much that he wanted to do every climb that kids can do. It was such a great confidence boost. Admittedly he was the only kid there so I’m not sure how busy it gets. But it was so much fun for him

My favourite climbing gym in the area! Great selection of boulders, really clean, bright and a nice welcoming vibe.

I bought a 3-month membership here, the facilities are very good, there are four or five automatic belays, a kids climbing wall (with rope belays) as well as a kid's bouldering area with an interactive projector so the kids can play games with the projections on the bouldering wall. This is separate from the adult bouldering wall. There are also free lockers with a pin code lock. There is a gym upstairs which is included in entry, not fully kitted out yet but I'm sure it will be soon. Friendly staff.

Such a great rock climbing place. So many options for both beginners and advanced climbers, plenty of space, and really helpful staff. There's also a gym upstairs that is included in your climbing ticket price.

Great place to climb. My kid loves coming here. Always a great time. The place is kept clean and tidy. Gym upstairs is nice for a quick air conditioning break when it's hot!

If you're into climbing, you need to check out Climb Fit Macquarie! I've been a member for a few months now and I'm absolutely hooked. The gym is well-maintained and has a great variety of climbing walls and routes, suitable for climbers of all levels. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to provide tips and encouragement to improve your climbing skills. Plus, there's a great community atmosphere with regular events and competitions.

What I love most about Climb Fit Macquarie is the attention to safety. The staff are highly trained and take great care to ensure that everyone is following proper safety protocols. There's also plenty of equipment available for rent or purchase, including shoes, chalk bags, and harnesses.

Overall, Climb Fit Macquarie is a fantastic gym that provides a fun and challenging experience for climbers of all levels. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout and a fun way to stay active!

I’ve been an casual goer of climbfit st leonard’s for the past two years and was very excited about this new gym as it’s closer to my house.
I think it has a lot of potential but as someone who is still very much a beginner at climbing this gym is not super accessible to someone trying to improve.
There aren’t enough routes at the first level (in both bouldering and top rope but I mostly top rope), and the 2’s are a very big jump in difficulty. I could probably climb all the 1’s in less than an hour and then not be able to climb the 2’s. At St Leonard’s I was getting pretty strong with blues and even able to climb a few pinks, so the progression between the levels is much smoother giving me the ability to actually improve rather than stay stagnant, which I feel I cannot do at the Macquarie gym.

I understand, especially with its heavy focus on bouldering, that this gym is maybe more targeted at people who are already quite good at climbing, but it’s really disheartening, as someone who wants to be good, to feel like the gym is not giving me the opportunity to improve.

I also feel the space is under-utilised. Each rope has only 1 maybe 2 routes available, whereas St Leonard’s has at least 2 routes on almost every rope, but usually more. I understand it’s maybe to fit with a certain aesthetic or maybe there isn’t the funds to purchase enough holds, but again it means less beginner routes in the gym as it feels as though the more challenging routes are prioritised. It also means that climbing rainbow isn’t really an option, which to an advanced climber may seem irrelevant, but when I first started climbing it was the way I got confidence on the wall and feeling comfortable with the height, so it doesn’t feel super accessible for young people either.

I really want to like this gym, but unless you’re already really good at climbing (like at least pink at St Leonard’s) it’s a very hard gym to actually make any progress at. I’m hopeful that as the route setters get more comfortable and experienced they’ll fix their ranking system so the progression from 1 to 2 is less steep, and maybe add just more routes so beginners like myself don’t have to do the same 6 routes over and over again.

. Definitely worth a visit. Since opening it has rapidly gained popularity which has made parking to a problem. I can highly recommend the venue. I am a regular user.friendly staff.

Fantastic new venue for top roping and bouldering. The bouldering has enough routes even for seasoned climbers, the only thing it misses is some more serious overhangs. It’s also got a kilter board and a couple of fingerboards for training as well as a stunning gym upstairs with cable machine, dumbbells etc.
