I live in a 3 year old rendered home. I have been left with crazed render and in places severe cracking. This was revealed as being an issue months after occupancy. An independent and neutral assessor described the remedy for the render and a way to proceed. The builder is a well known builder who employed this renderer. The renderer generally has been helpful in attempting to fix the severe cracking however with the surface shrinkage cracking there is a lack of interest from both the builder and the renderer. This has turned into a time consuming and annoying matter which shows no resolve.
