DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT CITY FORD ALEXANDRIA! They are dishonest thieves! I got my Ford Ranger serviced on the 23rd September 2022. They tried to convince me I needed new brake rotors because mine were “undersized” at specifically 28mm which is “below the legal limit”. They tried to charge me $1200 for new brake rotors insisting that I needed them and wouldn’t change my brake pads because of this. My car has only done 50,000km and I know for a fact rotors usually wear out after 200,000km. Today I took my wheels off to measure the rotors and what do you know! They’re at 37mm! Well above the legal limit and don’t need changing!
These liars will do anything to take your money. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
Not only that, when I got my car back on the service day, there was oil on the dashboard, drivers seat and dirt all over my belongings in the passenger footwell from dirty mechanics shoes while they were sitting in the passenger seat. I will never get my car serviced here ever again! I highly recommend going somewhere else for your service and avoiding getting ripped off by the circus at city Ford Alexandria.

I have been visiting City Ford since I purchased my second hand Kuga over about 2 years ago. Their service has always been tops and even though I didn't buy my Ford from them or as a new car, they don't treat me any different. Great staff and service.

May ford Ranger PX2015 3.2l come up with GST Valve stuck open contacted 2 other dealers due to lot’s of bookings they could not help until Christmas.
Than i contacted City Ford Alexandria and they booked for analysis to come Thursday, left the car service Supervisor told me I will be contacted later in the day 4 pm no curtesy to call me that day they did not look at the car.
Next day Friday no call around 4 pm I call again waited on phone for answers no supervisor available receptionist told me that it is EGR need replacing and it is around $1850 and Supervisor will call me back later and nothing come, so my Ranger was locked over weekend can’t pick up.
Went there on Monday to pick up, no apologies from Supervisor for not communication.
When I ask why it cost $1850 to replace EGR because parts is Under $700 + approx 3.5 hr labour at $209 per hr does not amount to $1850 it was obvious that they take you for the full.
I do recommend to all customers to be aware of overcharges, shop around.
I have got my Ranger repaired and new EGR replaced including labour $970.
Thanks Ford Alexandria you will not see me again staff Is rood and does not care about customers.
I am awaiting Service Manager to make comments on this and see watt excuses they will make maybe apology is more appropriate.

Highly recommend city ford, buying experience couldn’t be any better. If you go in ask to see haris, very thorough dealer who walked me through the whole process, as well as being a top bloke. Highly recommend this place and if I’m ever in neeed of a new car a again I will certainly be giving them a call.

Dear Ford why can't you help me needed some advise and got told you we can't help you we got a 96 Longreach falcon ute need a special tool to a harmonic balancer pully or advise from a mechanic not a desk jockey treated us like were in the wrong place thank you Ford for nothing was our second visit just got told to go to wreckers shop or a dump somewhere they might have it WHATTT? ONLY SUPPLY THEM SELVES CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE

Hi, recently purchased my Ford Ranger from here and picked it up today. Found all staff extremely good to deal with and no upselling, which annoys me. Salesman Haris was excellent to deal with and very knowledgeable when hand over the vehicle.

The staff provided me with cheaper options of parts & tyres and kept me well informed of what was being done.
Receipt was informative & included all work that was done.

Very poor customer service, services manager rude and not helpful. All started with poor advice and escalated to me being out of pocket for a fault not caused by myself. Would not recommend FORD to anyone.

I feel compelled to write a review on the outstanding quality of the service I have received from City Ford since being the owner of a new Ford Mustang since 2018. I don't normally do this but I feel credit is not acknowledged enough when deserved. My recent service has been managed by a Jon Cummins who was most helpful. My services have always been carried out on time and with a minimum of fuss. Additional expenses have never been pushed on me, which is unusual in these times and as I result I have total trust in the organisation. Finally, I am most appreciative of their loan car service which if memory serves me right is a paultry $6 mandatory fee. Very convenient. Thank you and I hope I can buy a new from you soon and maintain the service relationship.

I took my Ranger to get some warranty issues looked at here after having terrible experiences with the dealer I purchased the car off. John from the service department guided me through warranty process and was extremely helpful. I had a terrible experience with the previous dealer and a friend recommended to go to these guys, it was worth the 45 min drive from my home for the level of service I received rather than being ignored at my local dealer 5 mins from home. I would highly recommend these guys and I will be back for future services.

Very disappointed with their service and attitude. I shouldn't have to change the positive and negative poles of the battery. Because last time they didn't find out the problem of low battery power in time and let customers pay for it.

Really annoyed with the attitude of the parts department. I was quoted an amount for a part and then when my girlfriend went to order it she was quoted $80 more, when showed the original quote they said it had gone up and wouldn't honour it.

They also informed her that it cost $26 in shipping from their Melbourne Warehouse for a part that weighs barely 500g.

As both someone who has worked in Car Dealerships and often order parts through Sydney City for my business, I will be thinking twice after this experience.
