City Cave Mayfield

We attended a couples float and massage.

The atmosphere and ambience was beautiful, the staff amazing.

Unfortunately the room for the float was way too cold and I was freezing the whole time, so couldn’t relax and enjoy the float at all. Didn’t last the hour as I had to get out early and have a shower to warm up. There was no way to contact reception to adjust.

I love it here the staff are so helpful from the moment they see me struggle with the front door with my wheelchair to every possible detail the refreshing relaxing tea the way nothing is rushed it’s like my life in reverse I can take my time to enjoy every moment and then there’s that amazing float where I leave all my worries and pain behind I don’t know how I did life with out it

I booked in a surprise massage and couples float for my husband's birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The relaxation massage was indeed very very relaxing, and the float was a true reset, perfect just before the Christmas busy times. Will be returning!

My Happy Place, for the end of a big week there's almost no other place I'd want to be. The infra-red sauna in winter warms you to the core and melts all stress away! Just wished I'd had more time to float as well, I'll just have to go back sooner,?

I recently had the opportunity to try this great facility out. I did my research and I was very sceptic and had my anxiety levels reach the highest of all levels going into this place.
Claustrophobia is my deepest fear and the experience I had was so surreal, never ever would have I wanted to be in this situation, but I had the pleasure of meeting "Sam" who definitely made this experience safe and comfortable. "Sam" thankyou, you helped in every way to relax me in all the instructions that was needed for me to go through the process.
You may have seen it but I was shaking and petrified.
This experience had made me feel so relaxed and wanting to come back to help me experience more.
The whole process of floating in complete darkness is unbelievable and to just zone out and hear your breathing and heartbeat is unbelievable amazing.
Thankyou City Cave Mayfield and Sam for making my birthday experience an unforgettable experience.
I Will definitely be back as I loved my experience.

City Cave is a peaceful haven in the middle of bustling Mayfield. As soon as you walk through the door, you enter a tranquil and relaxing space that is further enhanced with sauna, massage and flotation therapy. I love it.

Most pleasant experience I had. Worth paying for something your body will be grateful for. Infrared sauna is a must! You get to have your own clean and serene space for 45 minutes. Easy to navigate as long as you listen to the intro video they’ll let you watch in the beginning of the session. Staff has been so welcoming!

I had a remedial massage today and my gosh- floating like a cloud afterwards! The massage therapist I had made me feel safe and comfortable, and was clearly extremely experienced at targeting problem areas. She found pain and knots I didn’t even know I’d been putting up with! Overall the facilities are peaceful and very clean. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back! Thank you

First time at City Cave Mayfield. We had a great experience! Welcome was very warm, introduction very professional and clear. We used the infra-red sauna and had a float therapy. Both were amazing. Sauna was really nice as its not as hot as a traditional sauna, which I like, but you sweat as much. The float therapy, a first for me, was something else! What an experience! It was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. My partner actually did fall asleep, she loved it! Definitely recommend, definitely will do this again!
