CIRCA 1928 - a spa hotel

Just WOW - working in the hotel industry I am very lucky to stay in some amazing places however this is by far the best I have stayed in.

From the moment we checked in we felt relaxed. Evey little detail has been well thought out and executed through the property. The rooms where beautiful and clean, hunter amenities, free mini bar and an amazing tea selection to choose from in your room.

The little touches of the welcome drink and night cap where a lovelly but I have to say my favourite was the fact Kevin escorted us to our room and showed us where everything was. It’s little details like this the hotel industry is really lacking at the moment.

Last minute we decided to do a couples spa treatment which they managed to go over and beyond to Accomadate. The treatment was so relaxing we feel like we have had a week rather then a night away.

Perfect in every way. I cannot recommend Circa 1928 highly enough. The styling, comfort, amenities, location and hosting are second to none. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Australia. Kevin and Ririn have created an incredible space. A pleasure to visit.

Kevin and Ririn made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are stunningly done and very spacious. The bathroom in our room was the size of some hotel rooms and the bath had to be seen to be believed. We definitely need to go back and spend more time in this heavenly oasis

What an experience. I can't rate highly enough. From the moment I walked in, to the time I floated out, I was treated with such respect and the most personal service. Every part of the treatment package was delightful and thoughtful. My therapist Sarah was faultless. Have not stopped drinking your praises over the past month.

Service and ambience excellent. A winner all round: Ririn is so creative, fabulous feel to this place. Her raspberry cake was so delicious, all the food was tasty, wine was so good the Rose I went to the winery to buy a dozen. I stayed in the Stanley room. We had such a brilliant time at this wonderfully luxe and boutique hotel. The service was warm and genuine, the little touches like night caps and drink on arrival was much appreciated and the decor and room were stunning. My kids loved it too. Highly recommended.

We stayed for our anniversary last night and were pampered from the start to the finish. The spa treatment was exceptional - 2 hours of bliss and lots of lovely little extras and treats throughout the stay. Highly recommended.

An absolutely beautiful hotel! From the moment you step through the door you immediately feel calm and at peace. Kevin greeted us at the door of the hotel and offered us a drink on arrival before showing us to our room and talking through some of the key features - a very personalised service. The rooms are beautifully designed and finished with very luxurious touches including a deep soaking copper bath. The rooms are huge and feature a desk area, lounging area and table for eating/drinking at Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning - a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend a stay at Circa 1928!

One of the best experiences we’ve had and we like our luxury experiences. Where to start.we got the cabin club package. Sooo much food and drinks included. Drinks on arrival, full bf, light dinner and ‘night cap’ ie your choice of snacks or drinks. Then there is the complimentary mini bar - fruit, chips, chocolate, alcohol and soft drinks - refilled. We also got the 90 min spa package. Highly recommend the facial. Noticeable difference before and after. The exfoliating foot rub was heavenly. The room - large, well decorated and lots of attention to detail. We enjoyed our room as much as we did the town. Last but not least, the host and hostess, Kevin and his wife - they MAKE the experience. Highly experienced, genuine and generous! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Stay the night. No. Stay two. The rooms, of which there are only two, are eclectic and the detail in each is beyond compare. Bespoke is a good representation. The bathrooms, furnishings and feel has been tailor made to make you feel beyond special. And did I mention the breakfast, thoughtfully delivered to your room. Then we have the spa. I've been to a few spas in my life. Nothing compares. The attention to detail, the attentiveness of the staff. The platter of delicious local delicacies at the end of your treatment, including a glass of bubbles was just divine. Only to be surpassed by the exquisite feeling of calm, peace and relaxation. This little gem in the middle of Albury is a must visit.
