I cannot recommend Choices Flooring Hornsby highly enough. Having had most of our upstairs and downstairs carpet ruined in two separate floods this year, we were so fortunate to have Marty from Choices Flooring to advise us about our carpet options, help deal with our insurer, patiently lend us carpet sample after carpet sample until we found the right one, and finally send in his carpet layers, who were the most professional we have ever encountered. In the midst of COVID restrictions when pure wool carpet from New Zealand was sold out before it was even produced, Marty was always 'a step ahead', ensuring that he could get our carpet laid at the earliest possible date, something we really appreciated in the middle of the winter lockdown. Dealing with Choices Flooring made replacing our carpet a pleasure and we are delighted with the final result. Thank you Marty and Choices Flooring!
I was blown away by the service from Alistair both before installation and after. I could not decide what type or colour of flooring to put in my new kitchen but needed it to compliment the existing natural wood in my timber house. Going with their advice, I am really happy with the decision, the installation process went without a hitch and on time, with the end result being exactly what I wanted. Great job and thankyou!
On behalf of Owners Cooperation of Strata Plan 78122 I would like to thank you for the excellent work you team has done while replacing on all 20 floors of our common area hallways as well as gym, lifts and our office.
We not only found you and Marty easy to communicate with and always happy to assist but your carpet layers did great job and we are very happy with the result and got many positive comments from our residents.
Please do not hesitate to use us as for future reference if one should be required.

Very pleased with both the service and end product. As I have little knowledge about carpet I appreciated the time Marty spent with me running through the various products as well as the guidance in what would work best for my space. The carpet installation was quick and professional, with the end result even better than I had expected!
I’m happy with the carpet and the end result. The experience of purchasing the carpet was good with Alistair coming to the house to make sure it was the right measurement.
But the guy who put down the carpet didn’t tidy up after himself, there was a mess everywhere. He said he forgot the vacuum cleaner.
There were so much carpet bits everywhere my poor normal vacuum cleaner couldn’t handle it very well and it took couple hours to clean properly.
I’m not sure if $1500 for carpet is cheap or expensive but for me it’s a quite bit of money, and I feel like that should cover the whole process of putting down the carpet, including cleaning up. But other than that everything else was great.
Sound advice regarding carpet types.
Good follow up regarding delivery and installation.
Big tick to the carpet layers.
I recommend this company.
A great business to work with.
We used Choices Flooring, Hornsby to install approximately 80 square metres of laminate flooring in our renovated kitchen, dining, living room and hallway.
From an initial showroom presentation which gave us an honest, no nonsense and practical approach through to an after installation visit to check the final job, we couldn't be happier with the service we received.
The Manager, Alistair kept us up to date with the job all the way through and the installers were professional and flexible to meet on the spot requests without issue.
I cannot recommend this business highly enough for all your new flooring needs.
I know I'll be back to use them again!
Fantastic experience. Alistair and staff were great. Best deals and best service around. Do yourself a favour and get them to give you a quote. You’ll be very pleased
Our experience with Alistair and other staff was very good. There knowledge of product and general customer service was very good. Communication through the sales process was excellent.
The carpet layers damaged the walls, stair skirting, and broke a light fitting, and we were told that this was to be expected, and our problem to fix. Apart from that, the carpet was fine, if you don't mind the odd tack strip nail protruding through the carpet.
The hard flooring (Genero rubber-backed stuff) was poorly cut, ranging from being packed in too tight, causing buckling, to being cut too short, leaving large gaps. Many of the cuts were also crooked. I'd also recommend hiding your own paint brushes and anything breakable, as they also used our good paint brush to apply glue (ruining the brush), and managed to break our dustpan and brush set.
While we just got cheap carpet and flooring, as it was to replace 25 year old flooring before a sale, I'd expect at least some professionalism and pride in your work. We should have spent the very-slightly extra to get Carpet Court to do the job. Oh well. House sold. Glad it's no longer our problem.
