Chiswick Woollahra

Chiswick has long been a favourite of mine for great food and lovely ambience. I introduced an out of town friend to the restaurant last night and she also absolutely loved it.
The winter menu really provided us with incredible flavours that almost reminded us in the very best way of the most amazing home cooking you could possibly have. The food was packed with incredible flavour without being overly fussy, which is a style that I really appreciate. Standout dishes were the zucchini with anchovy starter, the roast chicken which is now my new favourite on the menu, the crispy brussel sprouts and the wilted greens.
A meal at Chisick is always feels like a real treat for me. The food is great, the staff are warm and caring and the food is sensational. If you’re after a great Sydney experience then make the beautiful Chiswick one of your go to destinations.

Phenomenal food & service. Will be going back to eat what we couldn’t on our first time.

I ordered the chicken at home package for a birthday. It was really good, and the highlight was the sticky date pudding.omg.

Maybe considered replacing the chips with baked or boiled potatoes, chips just don't travel well.

Worth it to spoil someone!

Food is lovely. The service is very friendly. My only recommendation would be to service mash or roast potatoes instead of hot chips.

We ordered takeaway Lamb Shoulder and sides + Sticky Date Pudding for dessert - most amazing meal! Absolutely delicious and great value for money - the servings were huge! Thank you Chiswick!

We had a fabulous evening! The food was delicious with generous serves. The service was exceptional, fantastic wait staff who provided just the right amount of attention.

Very attentive and helpful staff, providing great service. We had an issue with a dish being cold, but it was replaced immediately and without any issues. All the staff were very apologetic and attentive. Very happy with our lunch.thanks to all.

Have been to Chiswick quite a few times but had a break reverently. Just returned for the first time in a couple of years and we were really disappointed. The food came out (mostly) cold and we returned some dishes to have them replaced with more cold food. It feels as though the focus has changed here from fine dining to fast food; we were out within 75 minutes and everything felt rushed. So disappointed about our experience as we’ve had many happy memories of eating here before and enjoying wonderful, refined dishes. Now it feels like it’s all about turnover snd money. The staff were, however, very friendly and doing their best in the frenetic pace of this once lovely place to eat.

Without the noise suppression you would never go to this restaurant, so congrats for resolving that. Food is solid and imaginative, staff super nice and the setting is beautiful. Recommended.

An Amazing restuarant, great buzz/vibe, food is delicious, original and servings are generous, the service is fantastic. Great all year round but one of the Sydney winter favourites.

We celebrated a special birthday at Chiswick yesterday and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my entire life. The food is delicious, the venue is stunning but the staff were out of this world. We felt so special and they went the extra mile with everything without us ever having to ask - (Claire, a thousand thanks!). Perfect.

Food at Chiswick has always been top notch, the atmosphere is lovely also, however on this occasion it was so noisy, I couldn't hear my guest talking, so I was a little disappointed with that aspect.

Good clean food, We all had the Barra and it was well cooked and we all enjoyed it. Service was impeccable, Friendly and professional. Will try again in the daytime. Recommended

I do love this beautiful restaurant. The food is honest, delicious and fresh. I love the onsite garden and beautiful interior. The lamb is amazing and plentiful. It’s so tender and flavoursome! I can see why it’s their signature dish! The service is also good with friendly waitstaff. Looking forward to coming back again!

Fabulous Sunday afternoon at the Chiswick. Ordered the lamb which never disappoints! How lucky to live so close to such a wonderful dining experience!

Oh my goodness what can I say, the best lamb I have ever tasted. Doesn’t get any fresher than farm to table. The dessert was a little underwhelming but still my meal at Chiswick ranks in my all time top 10 best meals. Also situated in a lovely suburb of Sydney which makes the entire experience even more special.

Chiswick makes me seasonally grateful for good food, great wine, buzzing atmosphere and Aussie authenticity. A local institute and an absolute favourite for years.

I loved the Autumn inspired menu today at Chiswick. It was a buzzing Saturday lunch service on a grey day which set the tone for a great vibe, and the food was delicious. The “Barra-masalata” is an unforgettable entree, and next time I’ll be ordering one for myself. The Pipi pasta was fresh, salty and wholesome. The dark toffee dessert is a must order too!

Johanna made our visit here the most amazing time ever. She was a star and so accomdating. We had the most amazing time, the food, atmosphere and service was lovely. Thank you Jo for the great reception!

We recently dined here for my sisters hens night with 15 guests. The staff were incredible and catered to every need including allergy issues. They truly go above and beyond. A special thank you to Callum and Frank for making our experience so wonderful and easy. We all can’t wait to go back!
