Chipmunks Playland & Cafe Prospect

I love love this place so much. It’s very clean and very safe for kids. My kids love playing at chipmunks prospect and they ask to go play there at least once a week.
I also had my sons birthday party at chipmunks prospect and it was such an easy process from start to finish. Eliane offered me a lot of help with picking the package, the food and the set up. She also helped me with last minute requests and all
My guests were impressed with the set up and the food and the cleanness of the place.

I recently had my daughter's birthday here and was blown away. The staff are beyond amazing, helpful, attentive and made the event a dream.
The whole process was easy and stress free.
The cleanliness was 10/10 and complimented by all the guests too.
I couldn't recommend this playcentre more.

This place is very good for kids, has big slides enough balls, nice and clean place for kids to enjoy their play time, its under new management now the staff were so friendly let us stay beyond their working hours,

My kids loved playing here, it’s clean and all equipment was working. Great customer service, delicious food and now under new management which is fantastic!

Fantastic party for my 8 year old. Whole party went smoothly and stress free with everyone having fun with the party host. Only let down was their communication of date availability, meaning i had to chase them up to confirm, but once confirmed, smooth sailing from there.

Beware of dangerously installed cable ties in the playgym particularly at the top level near the butterfly steps. These cable ties have not been cut properly and have sharp edges. My daughter cut her hand badly on this. I noticed staff but they didn’t do anything about it, I emailed to complain and get to hear a reply. Bunch of incompetent, careless ppl. Fair trading will be next.

Staff are friendly and inviting no issues with them at all.

Broken equipment, air machines didn't work, no balls in 2 ball pits, no foam balls in air play area, closed off sections from damage and closed off with netting and cable ties, dirty/ soiled equipment, padding falling off multiple areas showing the metal scaffolding.

Can honestly say I didn't have much confidence in the equipment holding up for much longer and a child falling through a panel after seeing soo much broken and closed off area's.

1 star for nice staff upon entry and exit.

Don't think I'd return unless the issue's were rectified.

Poorly maintained. Dangerous to kids.
Also, Ball shooting and many other equipment doesn't work. Lazy staff to switch it on during weekdays even if it work.

The equipment is broken and dirty. I am not snobby by far and I was horrified at the state of the place. It looks like it hasn't been maintained in years. Horrible.

Honestly ive taken my daughter whos 22 months a few times and have caught on to some things very quickly 1 the equipment never seems to be works alot of the stuff is broken 2 the place is usually always dirty 3 the ball pit and the block section for the baby's to play are never looked after well I suppose the whole equipment isn't but there is never balls in the ball pit there was no blacks to play with my daughter loves those 2 play areas and she literally couldn't play with them been 2 times to give benefit of doubt never again.

Great place for a kids party. We were here for my daughters 6th birthday and it was excellent. The food was great. Catered for adults and kids. They didn't want to go home. See you next year.

Worst customer service ever.
If you publish that you open till 4.30 pm, you need to open to the published time.
Girls are rude and said to my kid to leave the area 10 minutes before the closing time.
When I asked about the manager they said they are not here.
The way the speak and deal very rude and I don’t recommend this branch at all.

Adults enter free. Kids play unlimited for a fee. Overall good fun for a days visit to keep the kids busy. Can do better overall. Cafe needs improvement. Surprisingly, didnt find a kids toilet - had the usual men, women and handicapped.

Horrible experience!

They asked my kids to leave 15 minutes early and deflated the playground while my kids were playing on it.

You must not speak with kids (4 and 6 years old) and ask them to leave early and YOU must comply with the publishing opening and closing time.

Have been to Villawood branch and it is much better.

I won't go again.

Very unprofessional communication with patrons - brought an issue to their attention after our visit and received a rude response. Safety concerns- areas with obvious tears/breaks, baby area- baby access to generator/pump for jumping castle/obstacle course (had to keep redirecting my baby away from it), no monitoring of sick patrons attending- kid coughing and sneezing everywhere.
Equipment not working - all the ball shooting/blowing devices not working, inflatable in the baby area not inflated.
Only two staff members on - one on the desk and one on food - when I left there was only one and they were outside emptying the bins - no-one on the tills, no-one on food.
Cleaning - grime/smooshed food on the playmats.

Had the most horrible experience at Chipmunks Prospect for our daughters after hours party. We were told by numerous staff that we would have access to the kitchen prior to the date however on the day 20mins before our event started I was told we could not use the kitchen and if we wanted to use it we would need to pay extra. Which was never once mentioned. We were told that we have 15mins to pack up or loose our bond. Paid extra for the chipmunk mascot to come out during cake cutting but that never happened. It was the most stressful experience as a parent to know that you have guest arriving in the next few minutes and you have the owner on the phone saying we can’t use the kitchen and it wasn’t part of the after hours party package.

The venue is dimly lit, I hope they fix their lightning.

Edit: After celebrating our birthday party we have a few complaints, they ask you to leave you driver's license at the counter as a security deposit for water and drinks. When I asked them to put water bottles on the table with food, they refused to do that and asked us to request the guests to goto the counter for water and drinks, which is pathetic service. Some of our guests missed having water. I would never book this place. Food is low grade Cafe stuff, the party rooms have no light. And there were so much more chairs and a reservation names put on tables where there was no party.
